Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin?

You cannot be so sure that there aren't more women. Good thing about crypto is its anonymity. Even if we were to see bitcointalk, we are not able to distinguish between males and females too.

I think it is more related about taking risk. Most of the time (same for any other investing market available today) only minority of the investors are female. I guest we should encourage them more so they can also enter to the market.

There are less women than men involved in programming, on internet forums and on the investment business in general. Bitcoin is a subfield of those three, so it makes sense there are less women in Bitcoin. Now why there are less women involved in those fields? that is a hard question, and it's very unfortunate. I am a woman and I'm interested in Bitcoin. 25% of my friends who are involve here are females. I'm thinking that this number is already a lot as women is not that interested in this kind of stuff. I guess that there aren't more women here is because most of us are interested with other things than with bitcoin. And don't take the women here lightly as some of us tend to be competitive, risk taker and such. Also, we don't know how many women are in here as one of bitcoin's feature is its anonymity. Exactly they don’t need to be in problem. There is a problem with majority go the women out there that they don’t have much stamina and will power to stand against hard times. They easily just gets afraid of it. And that is the reason when bitcoins are there in field, they fears to go for risk taking and this is all about the game of risk. So this is one of the reason for non-participation of women.

I think the main reason there aren't many women in Bitcoin is because there is still way more men in IT and Computers than many other industries. Tech industries are inherently male-dominated for reasons that include boys being introduced to gadgets at a younger age.

  Perhaps women have many other concerns besides bitcoin. Men find it easier to work with Bitcoin. A woman is always busy with household chores and she does not have time to sit by the computer and study the crypt. Maybe because so few women with bitcoin.

Maybe women is not as lazy as men. They don't look to be at home doing some mining or joining campaign. They like to go outside and have a social life. They prefer to be adventurous. Bitcoin may be a guy thing but we are not still certain on how many women are here as one of bitcoin features is anonymity. It may not be what we expected. But well, I guess why there aren't more women here is that women are interested more on other things than bitcoin. They tend to engage more on beauty and life things than cryptocurrency and such. They may choose to socialize on the real world rather than sitting all day in front of their laptops observing the rapid change of bitcoin price. In my own opinion, the reason why more men have knowledge about bitcoin rather than women because men are more spends more time in computer and technologies thats why most of them discovered some things about computers like bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Not like most of the women who spends most of their time making themselves beautiful and they have no time to learn things about computers and technologies.
