There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I bought the BTC from a bitcoin atm that I regularly purchase at.  I had about $95 USD in my account prior to last deposit that I couldn't spend and got some feedback that it is a total of leftover BTC fees.  But from my last deposit of approx $108 I should have been able to send that amount but can't send anything.  It shows it's in my wallet and not pending status anymore.  Should I stop using the bitcoin atm or BTC wallet in your opinion???  Thx

So if it's in my wallet and I can't send it anywhere does it actually exist?  My recent atm deposit should 100% be available but can't even send $5 of balance.  Can I go to bitcoin atm and sell it there or will I get a message insufficient funds?  If it shows in my available balance, I still don't understand why I can't use any of it.   Any help is appreciated.

The transaction has been confirmed so you should be free to spend the coins.
I wouldn't advise sending now though as the network is highly congested and your transaction will take a long time (more than a day to process) if using normal fees.

I just tried sending anywhere from $100 to $20 and get the following message:

Have you tried changing the fee? Perhaps check the auto set fee. That could be one of the causes...

Thanks for your input, I've tried changing fees and still didn't work.  And even at the highest fee I should be able to send $5 of a $200+ balance.  I didn't change any settings or parameters and haven't had any issues prior.   Has anyone seen this happen before?  Is transaction is completed and in my available balance it should be simple but I am still new to all this.

Given that your UTXO from the original transaction got "spent" here: https://blockchain.info/tx/c3b763d30bc8542c6579acdd749ad8007873e9a7ca8b44c6cf9cc9e57998de7f

I'm assuming that you managed to solve your problem? In any case, it sounded like any issue with your wallet provider... what wallet were/are you using?

I'm using BTC.com wallet and was able to send $100 using low priority fees.  But I still have $134.14 USD in my wallet and still trying to understand if and when I will ever be able to access them.  If they are leftover or gone to mining costs, shouldn't they be removed from my wallet?  What good is it to show that I have funds available but can never use them?   Thanks for your input and appreciated.

Can you share the address on which you hold these funds?
My guess is you have several small inputs, that means the fee required to send them is very high. Basically, at current fees, any input under 0.001BTC can't be spend, as it would entirely be taken by fees.

If the small inputs are indeed what causes your problem, you'll have to wait until fees are much lower to send them. Unfortunately, Bitcoin has come to this point where fees are this high. You have to compete with a growning number of other users.

Here a couple transactions with the little bits leftover.  But if all these little bits total the $100 in my wallet, why wouldn't I be able to send $50 of it for example?  You mean the fees would be more than that?  I tried sending $5 and wouldn't take.

This is exactly what I expected. You have many very low amounts, that gives a big transaction (in bytes), and requires a high fee.

At current fees, you can forget about it (sorry!).
Try sending your entire balance to 1 address of your own when https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx recommends 40 Satoshs/byte (or less). This sometimes happens on Sundays.

In the future, try to prevent collecing very small inputs, they're not worth the fee they require to send them.

Thanks for the advice,  what am I doing to make this happen and what should I do to prevent it going forward?  So does that balance just sit in my wallet forever?  I use BTC.com, Bread, Coinbase and Blockchain wallets.  (BTC.com wallet is where I have all the build-up) Is there one I should be using over the rest.  Thx!

I don't use either one of those, but Coinbase is not an wallet. It's an exchange, which means they'll be the one who have to deal with small inputs instead of you.

I prefer using a wallet that allows me to choose exactly which inputs to choose. That way I can for instance prevent getting small change, which is what happened to the addresses you showed earlier.
Example: 899c98c646df9605b7ad6501636a5bd968ae2b04707e8645afb0768626d2e39d:
You had 0.04501152, paid 0.044253 + 0.00043531 fee, and got 0.00032321 change.
If possible, you could have paid a fraction more, and used the input completely, without change.

As an alternative, try to spend small change once in a while too, when fees are low. Think of it this way: if you pay with banknotes only, you'll collect many heavy coins in your pocket. It's annoying to spend them all at once, so you do it during your normal shopping.
