most of altcoins is dead coins (waves with them) because big three  Bitcoin , Bitcoin cash , ETH destroy all alt.
Wave can’t fight against them it is better to invest in more than one altcoin

Price expectation will be more always and waves always satisfies the investors put the fund in the waves trading or holding it by buy in huge numbers as of now.
Waves coin is one of the best altcoin in the market now. It may touches double the value in some days since people are showing the huge interest to the waves.

Probably, the possibility of it is not that low but it aint that high either therefore there is a chance that it will happen so I answered yes. Although that is the case, I myself thinks that it is too soon for waves to reach the speculated price by the said time. Probably it will reach those prices if bitcoin price is higher than 20,000$ or more in the future. That future ain't as near as 2018 though so I think the chance of it happening is low.

It doesn't make sense for Waves to follow the same steps as ETH because 1) Waves is not ETH and can't implement the same things ETH is implementing and 2) Waves needs to differentiate from Ethereum in general, in order to attract potential users. One of the most important things when launching a product/service or coin in our case, is that it needs to differentiate from the competition. What this means is that it has to offer a value that a competitors doesn't have, in order for the consumer to choose that coin. If Waves would offer the same things that ETH does, no one would go for Waves simply because they can find the same solutions as in Ethereum, so the question doesn't make any sense. As long as Waves doesn't differentiate and offers something new, it will always stay behind ETH. They need to innovate and offer new things to users.

the waves have an organic price increase with corrections as their idea and platform spread. about what competition with eth, if already now the waves have a high throughput of transactions per second. I'm not talking about a low commission compared to eth. then that Buterin was able to unleash his fork - it is his credit, but not a project in the whole. And there were no qualitative alternatives at that time. Unconditionally, eth will remain something like silver. but if you want to really earn by investing a small amount, then you need to look for projects like waves

The price is going up and it does look organic though the price just moves too slow to compete with the other top coins.

Waves is also a good coin, and i know all the people behind that will do all things to make waves become more profitable.
Waves has a good potential and i'm hoping that in the near future its price will become better than now.

Although I think that Waves has good potential I voted NO because expecting $200 by June 2018 is too much in my opinion.

I think in a best-case scenario Waves can reach $40 by Summer 2018 but not above that price.

Waves is a good coin which during almost a year and a half of its existence is showing rising in price from initial $1.20 to $5+ now.

All Russian ICOs are going with etherum and not waves... if all the attention is in eth, it's going to be really hard for any other smart contract platform (or right now I'd call it ico platform) because all buyers are in eth... it's network effects, I don't think transactions per second matter much

Exactly I like waves , but to me they are trying to do too much at the same time, they need to become the best at something and that is something they have been unable to to do, whenever you think of a characteristic of waves there is some other project that surpass it, and while speed of transaction seems to be something in which they are really good that is simply not enough.

You are correct in the first sentence of your post, most altcoins are dead and are not worth our investment but I disagree when you say waves is one of them, waves is a project with constant development and that keeps improving it has a good market cap and an user base that is very enthusiastic about the project, that is the recipe for success and to think otherwise is a mistake.

CEO Sasha Ivanov's actions will determine the future price of waves. In old days, waves didn't use to have competitors. Now, it has many competitors against itself. This created a disadvantage for waves prices when we take them into account.
