Snow Leopard

wanted to upgrade lately but then I saw the keynote about Maverick and decided to wait a few more months Wink

That explains it. As far as I know, this only runs on Mac OS X Mountain Lion.

I'll wait til I can get it to compile myself... This doesn't seem like the kind of thing I'd want to use some untrusted - no offense - third party's binaries for.

It's written in Python, so it's interpreted, not compiled. All of the source code is inside the .app, completely without obfuscation.
I have also written instructions on the wiki in order to run it yourself. https://bitmessage.org/wiki/Compiling_instructions#OS_X
I have simply posted this .app bundle for convenience.
I recommend compiling your own .app once you get everything working. This can be done by running ./osx.sh in the PyBitmessage directory.

Looks like someone else has my problem.

Maybe when Maverick comes out someone could take the time to compile it (unfortunately I don't have any clue how to do this).
