Could this harm your phone/battery? Also is it dangerous to for example use coinhive while your phone is charging?

I am really confused using mining ARM Miner, is it still working today?
It is POSSIBLE, the problem is your mining Hash Rate compared to that of a CPU or GPU on a computer is next to nothing comparatively. So although it may be available it is usually not profitable and you risk your phone overheating. Much better off mining from a computer.

Yah better mine on a omputer as of now until something is invented to add to Android avoiding the phone is getting heated. As mining consumes more electric power, you need to keep phone always on charge. But the phone is set at its threshold to consume less electric input which will not help mining.

Your android mining app can only run at 40 hash/sec which is basically equivalent to a C.P.U obtained from an old laptop though okay for mining but it will not last long and not recommended for phone this may damage and bricked your phone and battety because of constant heat which is generated.

This is an obsolete mining software, Bitcoin mining nowadays requires higher hashing power now a days. Using your cellphone to mine will just break your phone and not earn anything.

I think it is impossible but for the future it can happen, but the usage of mining on mobile is not very profitable because mobile processor will work harder and your phone will experience heat because there is no cooling.

Base that i read on other thread the android phone are not possible for mining. Your android phone will explode or die because of heat. It's better to use a computer for mining.

Mining on Mobile Phone ? Still its not possible. Lest wait for some super mobile CPUs even there are some super mobile CPUs, mining difficulty is already high so the CPUs can't handle that. and now, mining with PC CPU is not profitable. and mobile CPUs? I think it won't be profitable even it's a Super Mobile CPU

Well if android phones were mineable (or whatever the term is!!! ), then people would not be using high end rigs to mine bitcoin. It is because of the power and computational effort required that needs development of a rig to mine bitcoins. Given the amount of transactions and their complexity, it would be impossible to mine them on the phones. The phone would probably die an untimely death But may be you cna make a video of how phones die when you mine bitcoins from your phone.

yes mining bitcoin in mobile phone is possible but you will just earn a little, and if you continue using your phone in mining, it will surely breakdown thus you will just incur a loss.

Mining on android phone is one of the great things a cell phone can do. But in reality I will not try it because I just rent a computer in the net cafe. So I do not know it yet.

I installed the mining app on my android phone and then observed it. In a few minutes my phone started heating up and then the battery starts to drain very fast. I remove the mining app and then my phone came back to normal. Those mining apps will absolutely destroy your android phone.

Just imagine: You get a new smartphone for free, but it will be using 50% of sources for mining to cover its cost let's say for a year, why not?

When you tried up to search the recent miners or things needed to mine bitcoin then for sure you would able to answer your own question. Which is "NO" since android phone arent asics to have a high computing power in able to mine bitcoin. Even on mining altcoins using mobile phones isnt possible how much more on bitcoin itself. Asic miners are the dedicated ones and do have the capability on mining bitcoin which isnt really cheap at all if you do try to look on its recent prices.

Now it's not possible. Because Android phones professor is not enough strong for mining. May be one day it will possible. But then this type of phones price must be high.
