This is bullsh*t. If your going to do a post/activity ratio crap, you need to have both available next to the avatar. No one is just going to click your profile? Huh Huh Huh

It's discrediting longtime forum members. Please Fix this immediately!!

You need to voice that on the prior link given at the end of page 1 of this thread, but not actually in this thread.

I suspect its also balancing out long time members that only post when they feel its beneficial to the forum.  Too bad it can't also recover months of lurking before registering.   Wink

I understand this to be a positive change.  Though I lurk way more than I post, oh well.  Its not like i'm trying to make a bunch of money on here or anything.

I think snare rolls should be used as a currency.

It should be a boon to weeding out those that spam the forum to look like trusted members.

Tired of substandard power distribution in your ASIC setup???   Chris' Custom Cablez will get you sorted out right!  No job too hard so PM me for a quote

I make the effort to read other members previous posts in an attempt to evaluate their community participation.  This helps me avoid those that wish to exploit others for personal gain.

Please someone tell me I'm not going mad...Embarrassed

Youre going mad. It says "activity", not "post count".

I'm pretty sure that the high difficulty has something to do with this.  Damned asics.

EDIT: I just posted something to just get a reference for some hueristic hypotheses.

One that works for me right now is ceil(elaspsed time logged in, in hours).

Strong law of small numbers strikes again.  This is good.  It's like in the Air Force: if a guy has a wreath around the shield on his pilot wings, he's been in the left/front seat for a certain number of hours.  End o' story.

1. Notice something changed in the forum
2. Don't even notice it's not called Posts anymore but Activity
3. Run to Other > Meta
4. Don't read the 3 threads that have "activity" in the title
5. Make a new, useless thread
