There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Can you's post your bitcoin addresses you're using that has the funds on them.

Also, try switching servers and see if that fixes anything (it's in the wallet>preferences section).

That's geat news, @OP try that.

If that doesn't work, post your address here by clicking View>Show Addresses and navigating to that tab.
Also, network settings can be changed in Tools>Preferences - apologies for my mistake.

Have you tried restarting the computer as suggested by the other user above again?

EDIT: That address, 1GRQAxNsbfctcgAnm2ir1aPTWNyEumanpb, has no history on the blockchain, no bitcoins have ever been controlled by it.
