One should research the ico , the team behind it if they already proved a successful project before and if they are trustworthy. Another factor is the marketing side of the ico and the business as well.

The criteria for evaluating a good ICO you can refer to:
Team established ICO
Development roadmap and venture capital funds
Community and media support
What is their Token? Blockchain needed?
Quality code - See on Github
That's my basic idea

There are a lot of different ways of how to investigate any ICO. You should read the whitepaper, look at the community numbers on social media, look at the products development and only than you can participate, if you want.

Difficult, I agree that today it is very difficult, as it is really difficult to choose from hundreds of projects that are very similar to each other, but the most important thing is not to choose projects that do not satisfy your principle.

If you choose the ICO project for investment, then in my opinion you need to evaluate the product or service of the ICO project for the future in 3-7 years. If there is confidence that this product or service will be in demand in the opinion of experts and in your opinion in 3-7 years, you should safely invest the maximum possible funds.

To choose a good ICO we have to look up some tips…
We have to deeply study the project to confirm that project have potential, a good team should be behind the project.

I would say the team behind each project makes a great impact. The more experienced the team, the more chances that they'll bring the project to success.

They are some points to check before you invest in a initial coin offering. As example you can check the background of the people who handle the ICO that your planning to enter. Including to the background are the number of successful project that they handle. Beside from that they must also have a catchy and understandable white paper for the investors easily understand what the ICO are planning to introduce. And lasty you must know the marketing style of the ICO , how they encourage customers or client to invest or to sell. Those are the thing that you mist consider in choosing the right ICO for you.

You read the material they published. See if their direction is good.
What is the vision for the next 2 years?
See if their application is beneficial to investors?

There are many factors in selecting a right ICO:

Team
Timeline
Media and Community
Code Samples
Regulation
Distribution
Purpose
White Paper
Global Potential
Circulating Supply

If an ICO has all the above mentioned Points then you can invest in the ICO.

While searching for ICOs I came across one ICO which looked promising. The ICO's name is INCODIUM.

Incodium has developed a solution to protect users and investors against the rising threat of cryptocurrency hacks. Incodium is achieving this through an API-based Smart Contract Solution.
