What makes BTC better than BCH? What makes BCH better than BTC? Obviously I'm sure there will be very strong opinions to this, but let's see what information is out there rather than the explanation "shitcoin". I'd like a little bit better than that. Give some factual information that can back up your reasoning.

Bitcoin Cash
Con
Not as many altcoin pairings (Temporary issue)

Pros
Faster Transactions
Cheaper Transaction Fees
Updated Difficulty Adjustment which protects it from a death spiral
Active Developers

Core Bitcoin aka segwitcoin
Cons
Transactions taking weeks
Insanely high transaction fees
No protection from a Death Spiral
Developers only concerned with creating a fractional reserve offchain network for the banking cartels that they work for : AXA

Pro
Currently more altcoin pairings.

Unless segwitcoin fixes its onchain issues, expect their to be a flippening where Bitcoin Cash takes it place as #1 coin within a year and core btc has died in a death spiral.

Two things I don't understand about this logic:
1. If BCH does become more valuable/popular, wouldn't it end up in the same state as BTC in terms of transactions?
2. If transactions are the problem, why would BCH be the coin to replace bitcoin? There are several much better alts that have 0 tx fees and wait times.

Not a supporter of either coin btw

I'm interested in this discussion as well, and I tend to agree with Wizzam. Bitcoin Cash is not such a dramatic upgrade to the core bitcoin protocol and it too will encounter bottlenecks and high fees if it becomes too popular. I believe you can say the same thing about alts like ZCash, which are based on Bitcoin. Right now - low fees and fast transactions, but the core technology is the same - if it'll get too popular it'll also suffer the same problems. So perhaps the future is in something completely different?

Everyone is already used to BTC, the market of bitcoin is less centralized and more stable than BCH. Bitcoin cash is nothing more than a speculation (and a scamcoin in some kind) with only a bunch of greedy douchebags behind it.

Bitcoin Cash has an 8MB Maximum block size , so it has capacity to spare.
It also has active developers testing even larger block sizes if they are ever needed.

But it would be years before the 8MB block size was even close to full, segwitcoin is limited to 1MB, so you see the problem.

Currently BCH has the financial backing a coin needs to be #1, as you can see from its trading volume plus it would be very easy for it simply to replace btc as it has the exact same mining infrastructure. That gives it an advantage for the next 4 or 5 years after that other issues will come into play where they will have to update or be replaced by another crypto. (Energy requirements will be a primary issue in a few years.)

Just because you are butthurt is no reason to hurl insults because your btc is dying.  Wink

Have your core devs fix their code and quit being a wussy that blames others for your weakness.

Yes, BTC  main problems are too high price for the transaction and scaling and if not to take action, different scenarios are possible. One we observed this weekend
