ETH or LTC long term?

I do not believe in the success of LTC and therefore it seems to me better to invest in ETH.  I trust this coin more.

I think Ethereum is more suitable for long-term investment. LTC is more like a bitcoin guinea pig. Its value comes from a huge community, but he has no novel concept, but Ethereum is not

I prefer eth than ltc. Because seen from now eth has a high popularity and also has good potential. I am very confident with eth for long term. I also hold some eth and I will keep it for a long time.

 Litecoin and ethereum are in top 5 good altcoin and profitable in crypto market cap now, but i better to choose ethereum for more potential altcoin rather than litecoin. Ethereum now is the second placer of bitcoin I'm pretty assure that this ethereum like bitcoin soon.
But who knows that's only prediction much better if you have enough capital hold that both.

I do not think that Litecoin is now more promising for investment than the Ethereum. I think that ETH should be bought as a minimum for 1 year to hold ..

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus? 

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

In my opinion ETH is the most promising coin. It's have a good option for investment for the long term. It is a very popular and the cheapest coin.

Pick whichever you like the most both of those coins are winners you have nothing to worry about if you choose ethereum or litecoin, one or the other is going to grow up more than the other but is it really that important? Both of them are going to grow it doesn't matter if one grows 800% and the other grows 1000% you will still get huge profits if you hold for long term.

Yes, Ethereum and LTC are two powerful and good coins for long-term investments. If I had to choose from both, I tend to choose ethereum. Ethereum has more potential to grow and bring huge profits.

Ethereum and Litecoin has similarities and you can mine both coins. But the services of Ethereum is way more brighter than Litecoin. It offers smart contracts who would able to put up start up business. Well i want litecoin coz they implemented Lightning network.

I think bought of them i invest for long term,i just have to be flexible on this two currency i will focus on the currency with a higher pump at that minute and gamble for trading and buying for the dump currency at that minute also i'll take the risk whatever it takes.

They are both good in terms of long term investment, but I still vote highly on ethereum rather than litecoin since it's still keep rising and I think it will remain at the end of the year and afterwards. Litecoin is good but I don't find it to much attractive on investors. And also, I am so much agree that you should never ignore bitcoin because it has the greater future on all cryptos.  Wink

For me eth cause you need eth everytime you move your coins to trading or what every time you move it had a fee of eth. eth is our daily basis so hold eth cause we need it

Both Litecoin and Ethereum are excellent choices for anyone who wants to invest in altcoin in the long run. But I prefer on ETH, because stable and most ICO use this network for their smart contract so tested for fast transaction.

For a long time it is better to buy an etherium, because it is a more stable currency. Litecoin in my opinion is not so popular a coin to compete with the etherium.
