Why do you say that eth is going nowhere. If it is true, then ltc is also not going anywhere. Ethereum has better usecase and acceptability than ltc. So I think eth will always grow better than ltc. What does litecoin really do?

Ethereum and litecoin are each correct coins and could hold to broaden and develop in price. but, i might pick out ethereum, this coin is extra in demand and, likely, more promising. Already, many recall ethereum a candidate for leaders of crypto foreign money after bitcoin. at the ethereum platform, greater than 90 percent of the ICO is spent, this coin is wanted for any movement of recent tokens.

You are right and Ethereum is more popular, than ever. But we should not scratch Litecoin so easy IMO. I have invested in both and think that both coins have a great future ahead and will grow bigger.

Both Litecoin and Ethereum are altcoins with a very promising future. I prefer Ethereum, but the LTC is also a strong and correct bet on the crypto market

Ofcourse there is only one option - Ethereum.

Ethereum as a platform for almost all ICOs has a huge potential.

Litecoin in opposite is in trouble nowadays, i have no ideas how it can "outrun" ETH.

I think ETH is more promising because it's a whole unique system while LTC is kinda fork of BTC.

Ethereum and Litecoin are two valuable coins and have their own advantages but if for investment in the long term I prefer Ethereum, Ethereum I think is the best altcoin I see its development better than other altcoins.

Litecoin has been building from the same code. I remember when someone had shared the bitcoin open source code and charlie and his team was changing the spesification of the bitcoin blockchain from the code. This to give the more scalability to the litecoin itself.

ethereum and litecoin are coins that have good potential for long term investment, but for me the best coins remain ethereum because ethereum will continue to grow and will become more popular.

Best is to split 50:50 and keep them in your private wallet for long time. You can invest ETH in some ICO or wait till the price rise but both are great projects and will be one of the most used in the future of blockchain

I will choose both because ethereum and litecoin have a big chance for the long term and the price will get up. right now, ethereum is trying to get up after in the down price and soon, litecoin will follow too. but I think litecoin is really good for a long term because the price does not increase too high and only stable in the price now.

ETH and LTC are good coins and they have potential to grow ad grow. Investing in ETH and LTC is a good decision and you may not regret in what will happen in the next more days or in the near future. Holding those two coins is also a good decision we will made.

Bitcoin may be too high for your liking but the truth is that it could still reach as high as $100,000 per BTC. And it might happen in a year or two from now.

I think Charlie Lee is one great genius. But he left Litecoin. This would definitely be pulling down the price of Litecoin. The growth will definitely get affected. In 5 years times, I think you would be making a bigger profit with Ethereum rather than with Litecoin.

ETH is a better option for me. Its also some kind of a stable coin. I really don't know much about LTC! You can still do further research.

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Thanks

In the world of crypto, predictions were baseless and nothing to do with their prices being volatile all the time. But I believed crypto will rule the world of currency and any other categories such as the blockchain technology and being a decentralized type of system that will barely be manipulated by anyone. In my honest opinion, LTC and ETH both had potential but Im gonna go all in with ethereum.

I'm not sure LTC can compete with Ethereum. The Ethereum's potential is huge! LTC blockchain is too weak, with a weaker team.
