Hey guys,

I'm starting off with a relatively small budget, but I do want to invest in a few ICOs. However I have no idea what can be a potentially profitable amount, not necessarily short term, but in the long-ish run.

How much do you guys invest in an ICO that you believe in on average ?

The long-ish run phrase is the key point in your question.  I do not think anyone has a good answer for that other than Nostradamus.

Invest in projects you understand and believe in with an amount of money your willing lose.

An ICO I am currently looking at is Propthereum.io. They are an asset backed cryptocurrency on the blockchain expecting a 1566% coin appreciation in a short period of time. All proceeds raised from their ICO will be used to purchase A-grade property worldwide. This will generate a rental income and underlying value for the PTC token holder. The great thing about this concept is that the coin will always increase in value. Propthereum.io launches 20 November so check them out.

It depends on a project. From 500 to 5000. If i'm not 100% sure then i will make it low. It's also depends
when the project is gonna be on market. Don't like long terms

You need to maximize ICO investment diversification. In today's market, this is the only way to get something really valuable and make x5-x10. One such coin will cover all your losses and will bring you profit in general.

Well, as for me though, since i do not have the luxury of having funds to dedicate on investing into ICOs, i invest time and effort instead. And buolding quite a good amount already over the months. But not that much yet.

But assuming i already have gathered enough funds for investing, i would gather as much names as i can and filter them out one by one. Don't care about how much effort i put into it as long as i am sure of my investments, i forget the fatigue. In fact i already do that, minus the money investments. I would basically study them all, and hand pick the top 3-5 best ICOs then divide the funds to each one. Ranging from greatest potential to lowest.

If you're asking that question. You most likely shouldn't yet. Take a look at few of the ICOs, see what other people think, do some research first. Don't make any rash decisions because you will regret them.
There are other ways to invest your coins as well. Gambling sites for one as mentioned (investing in the bankroll). Or you can simply just hold your coins, that is an investment in itself. The price is bound to increase long-term, if you have patience.

participated in single ico at the time will cannot gain a profit. In crypto ico is the most risky thing, just choose wisely the ico you choosing. You need to research it clearly on every project in want to invest. It's hard to determine a good ico, seeing it through websites, blog and social media is not to prove of a good ico.

I have never invested in any ICO. ICO is investment is a bit risky because you never now the project is going to be a successful venture or not. I follow the interesting project after the ICO finished and buy the tokens when they are listed on exchange.
I usually invest between $1k - 1.5k.

I think you guys should also indicate your completed roadmap as you just put July 2018 as project finalization. I don't know but you're more likely popped out of nowhere. And I didn't even see your team on your website neither on your whitepaper. Also whitepaper is too damn boring and short like it's more than a one pager.

I don't know but it's too shady for me.

I usually spend between 5-10k per ICO.  The payout are so big on the ones that hit you can afford to take a bunch of losses and still come out.  If one hits I usually sell 80% and keep a 20% moon bag.  If things get really crazy and I can exit before total failure I do.  you begin to recognize patterns of shit ICO's after a while.

I go for $100 as my maximum investment with ico, that's because I only have limited fund and I still believed that we must only invest the amount that we can afford to lose if anything happens. I am a risk taker but I have my limits with regards to participating in any ico. But I knew someone who could go and gamble huge money for ico and he could spend up to 1 grand and up with his capital.

Not sure about how much it is. However, if I want to invest in ICO, there will be like the minimal buy amount in that ICO. However, if we want to buy the token in the exchange, it will depend on each coin and our money. I buy the altcoins at least more than 100$.

If you are new to cryptocurrency, then you could start around $500. And then you try to play with it and split the money into a portfiolio of safe investments like the top 20, crypto, and invest some on altcoins

Most of the time I don't invest a lot of money. Angry
Because the risk of ICO is very high, then I may have a large loss, but I cannot afford too high loss.

For me it depends on how appealing the project is and how much they convince me to invest. Lately a lot of ico projects have been a little stale and not amusing for me. But if I find a good and ICO that really won me over I am willing to invest a lot. A good project is always worth investing.

Not everything is a scam though. So I would say go out and find a good one, check all the pertinent formation and do background check, and then invest $300 or around that much. It won't be a waste if you're confideny in what you invested at.

You only need $ 200- $ 500 to invest in ICO, I usually invest in ICO with $ 200, I think it's enough to invest and get lots of profits, the most important thing in investing in ICOs is that you have to have data and information about ICO and never greedy.
