The improper use of bitcoin that i only know is when the people use it to do illegal transactions and take advantage of the anonymity of bitcoin which makes them stay under the radar. This is the improper use of bitcoin that resulted to have a lot of bad image in bitcoin because most of the people knows that bitcoin is just for illegal activities but they didn't know that bitcoin has a lot of good side rather than those negative sides that they are thinking.

the improper use that I think is sending bitcoin to a wrong address because transactions in the blockchain is irreversible so you cannot refund your transactions when it has been send to the wrong address so be really careful in sending always double check if the characters are correct and there is no missing or wrong letters or numbers.

Well we cannot deny that there are improper usage of bitcoin right now cause rule about bitcoin is not that strict or there are not any rules or laws about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency yet so we cannot blame anyone, it depends on the user on how will he use bitcoin in a good way or in bad way let's just discipline ourselves cause these type of things will really have a bad affect in bitcoin and no one wants that.

All I know about improper use of Bitcoin are; first since government cannot control Bitcoin they may use it as a channel or passage in illegal transactions on drugs. Second, lots of scammers/ hackers entered Bitcoin then,  it will not be traced. Lastly, the rules of Bitcoin are not that strict thats why lots of people abuses bitcoin. But we must also think that bitcoin has many positive side than the negative one.

I don't think that there are ways that we can use bitcoin improperly, all of us have different way to use bitcoin in our own life because we can maybe a trader who uses bitcoin as a tool to trade altcoins and to make more bitcoin and there are people who are using it illegally because they believed that it is the best way to use bitcoin for them, so i think that there is no improper way since we all have different ways of using it.

Yes man, in the traders community at my local, bitcoin are becoming more  improper and they are using it like a normal currency in exchanging even my goverment banned the Bitcoins.

payments,thats why its virtual currency to be use more often than physical

That’s true, there are people who makes use of Bitcoin for illegal activities/business, but you can an never tell who they are, and you can also not stop them. There are lots of dark webs out there that even Google and other search engines can’t identify/access/bring up on the search page. I hate it when people are using Bitcoin for the bad, cause that’s a spoiler.

I don’t think sending Bitcoin to the wrong address is an improper use of Bitcoin, that kind of situation can only occur out of the user’s carelessness, cause I don’t see he you can make mistake and send to the wrong address when every wallet out there let’s you copy and paste instantly.

1. technical weakness: we know its a peer to peer transection system throgh confirmed way. within a few second a dishonest  person can get more money by fast  clicking when submit second payment of different recipient.
2. proper management: there is so many lack of proper management of human or account holders. so many hackers want to hack system for getting money because bitcoins holder don't have any insurance like bank account holders. even government don't follow rules and regulation for virtual currency holders.
So what you think about it ?

It cant be helped but another one is using it as a savings account to transfer dirty money from drugs and any other illegal transactions. Its true that no one manages bitcoin cause you are the one who protectanand upgrade your security.

I know about it activity. I prefer to say cyber crime activity like what hacker do.
Hacker is un responsible people who want to steal money from other wallet.
I hope all bitcoiners know how to prevent the wallet from hacker.

haha lol, i think that is not improper use rather that is called a stupidity. improper use means that your using it the wrong way for example your

But peolpe leads to the improper use of bitcoin, on how people spend and use it and where to use it, whih people involve in some criminalities that pays using of bitcoin.

Criminality has always been on even before the existence of bitcoin. Bitcoin anonymous characteristics (which is not even fully anonymous anyway), may be one of the reasons for us to keep looking at the fact that it makes criminal activities easy but we have to realize that even USD, gold etc. have always been used as a form of exchange for criminal activities in the past.

Yes, any types of crime can be defined as improper use of bitcoins. But crime activities are not just due to introduction of bitcoins hence every men do something  as per their needs.

Bitcoin is decentralized which means transactions are not under the authority of the government which allows the users to use it as they would want to. As such, improper use of Bitcoin is based on how will it be used and where will it be spent. Crimes rekated to drugs is the most common improper way of using Bitcoin.

In my opinion there cannot be any improper use of bitcoins. Only mentally ill people may through out their bitcoins for no reasons. When someone is spending bitcoins for some reasons then we cannot call it as an improper usage of bitcoins. They spend it as per their wish.

as far as I know the proper use of bitcoin to transact payments, if crime for ransom crime is not appropriate, because transparent bitcoin technology makes it easy to track. so it's a good idea to use bitcoins for the right payment like buying legitimate items.

Here in our country improper use of bitcoin is already rampant. They use bitcoin as front for investment schemes. And a lot are being victimized already thats why investors should be very careful to where they invest their money to bitcoin. My own opinion on improper used bitcoins is? when it is used in the wrong processes..example like when in the drug..and in criminals. things that people should not buy or use for no money and especially in scam. so need to be used correctly the bitcoins are not just self contained in life and family.

So terrorists and criminals also use cryptocurrency to their group advantage, because the transaction here is not kept awake, so it can not be traced.
