Bitcoin is much special than others currency because of its popularity and it is the first Crypto due to itsophisticated system of software that bars anyone from tracing its source. Through the Blockchain, all transactions can be stored safely for public access, but the currency’s source can’t be traced. Its elaborate system ensures that the transaction, upon being verified, cannot be erased from the blockchain records.

There are lot of reasons why Bitcoin is so much special among other currencies because it ha a reputation which mass of people that trust in it..It has investment that billions of dollars put into infrastructure, companies, study, etc.And the solidity of it since it is the oldest, the most tested, other altcoins have proven weak and buggy... Technology is important, but name (reputation, investment and solidity) is far more important.People trust Bitcoin so they invest in it, so the price goes up.Bitcoin is “the standard”.

The reason for that level of sucess is because it does better what it proposes to do, which is to be a good store of value and censorship resistant. Most other currencies try to do the same, but there is no way for them to achieve this being so centralized.
A lot of people have asked why Bitcoin has a higher price than other currencies. I think this depends and the level of profitable the supply and development platform. Bitcoin is currently the market leader in the highest rate and this may be a long time in the future. |

I will answer this question assuming that the "other currency" is a fiat. Bitcoin innovate many fiat features, and one of that is the transfer of currency. In deed there are credit card and paypal which could do this. But transfer or processing fees is more cheaper in bitcoin, the conversion is much even advantageous compare to fiat based services. There are times that I transfer bitcoin to one of my friend across the city and it didn't cost me a single penny. I even do some tap at my phone doing that, and wolla, an instant transfer.

Having been involved in Bitcoin for a long time, I’ve noticed that there’s a pattern to how people think about Bitcoins as they discover more and more of the ecosystem surrounding it. Usually, the thoughts go something like this. Many people stop and stay at a particular step. For example, I know many people that have never bought Bitcoin but have simply mined all the Bitcoins they own. They’ll gladly spend thousands on mining equipment but would never actually buy Bitcoin on the market. There are others that stay on the Bitcoin step and never proceed to look into altcoins. There are still others that hedge with pretty much every altcoin out there. Point is, that this pattern of looking for the best way to take advantage of this new innovation progresses in a predictable way, but different people are convinced by different things.

Yes and i think that bitcoin is the founder of all the crypto currencies, its users are present everywhere and is fully decentralize, therefore i think that bitcoin s something special than any other crypto currency. I hope that bitcoin will remain special for a long long time and that is the reason that most of the people are investing money in bitcoin and putting more trust in bitcoin. |

I think the specialty of bitcoin comes from the fact bitcoin is the first and most popular of all cryptocurrencies.
I also believe bitcoin is special because of its price. As of today, the price of bitcoin is about $9000 while the second highest coin is not up to a thousand dollars.
The specialty of bitcoin also lies in the fact it dealsvwith peer to peer transaction without the involvement of a third party.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are so special due to the fact that the technology behind bitcoin is highly advanced and improved. And bitcoin is a peer to peer means of sending money and in doing that you don't any third party involvement's. It highly decentralized so is not under the control of any central bank or government, it volatile natour make it very peculiar to use
