Can bitcoin drop to $3000?

We can't certainly deny that bitcoin will fall back anytime because of being volatile, but I really don't think that it will fall deeper into $3k. I can't imagine if that will happen to bitcoin since we are almost to $10k target possible to happen before the year end.
We just think positive and always keep moving forward. Though we can't ignore of some hardfork on the coming days but still I believing bitcoin to go further as everyone expected to happen with bitcoin.

Of course it can be But this case will only happen in next 100 years or more when total supply amount of Bitcoin is mined out or something bad will happend and have a huge effect to Bitcoin price. But we still need to wait to see what will happen to Bitcoin price when 21m BTC is mined out, maybe it'll decrease or maybe it'll increase. Nobody know about this case which will happen in next 100 years or more )

I doubt it that bitcoin will be less than $5,000 or will be getting again on that $3,000 price. It has gone so far and though it's possible that it can be back there but if we will connect what's with bitcoin now, I really doubt and will never believe it will go back.

I doubt it that bitcoin will be less than $5,000 or will be getting again on that $3,000 price. It has gone so far and though it's possible that it can be back there but if we will connect what's with bitcoin now, I really doubt and will never believe it will go back.

Yeah and just being realistic and with the current price it's too far to fall in that price.
Many are wanting bitcoin to fall so they can buy in low price and have a good profit but to think that it's too much to aspire that. Just wait for the upcoming correction after bitcoin hit its new ATH.

After all the pumps and all that, it could certainly. If you look at bitcoin pumps back in the year 2013 it basically from $100 to $1100+ back to $200 or even less. The same could happen to bitcoin in 2018, nobody knows.

$3000 is still a huge increase from the $400 that we've seen last year as well.

If it does go that low, keep buying until it goes up. It'll eventually.

There is a  possibility it may occur due to rise or fall of the bitcoin price, but I don't see it going down below 3K again. If that will happen, I can't wait to buy!!!

That's impossible, I think bitcoin price will continue to be away from that, even I'm more suspecting it will continue tend towards the altitude as time goes on. But maybe if it got decreases, I think it will not touched $3000 anymore, but maybe at least it might be $5000 I guess.

Do you know what caused that drop? Although I was aware of the Bitcoin ATH price back then, I didn't follow the events closely enough to know what happened.

At this point wherein its market value is continuously increasing and becoming more expensive, it seems that it is not possible for its value to drop that much. Ofcourse, fluctuations are normal since Bitcoin is volatile, its value is always exoected to fall but I don't really think that it will be as low as 3000 USD from a current value which is really close to 10000 USD.

Anything is possible in bitcoin world, but I will prefer to see bitcoin climb to $30,000 instead of dropping to $3,000

For dropping that low the possibility is very slim, now bitcoin is on uptrend, even with correction it will only hit 7k or 8k, dropping until 3k is a bad sign, the investors will take a really close to bitcoin if that scenario is happening, because if we see the growth chart, bitcoin never down so drastic

Yes there is a possibility that bitcoin will drop in that amount but at the currenct situation in bitcoin it will hardly to deep because value of bitcoin is contonuous increasing due to constant adoption in every country that is why demand in bitcoin are increasing and it will reflected to its value.

There can happen, but it's hard to drop $ 3,000 to the present situation, because now there's good news about bitcoin, companies
and investors are planning to invest in bitcoin and a some countries adopting bitcoin, the demand for bitcoin is increasing and the
 price will reflect that situation. I think  bitcoin will not drop $ 3,000 .

As we inch closer to $10000 this year, the price getting down to $3000 is very slim. That would be like more than 50% of the current price so its unlikely to happen. A simple drop of 10-15%, people are already rushing to get and buy bitcoin because most of us really feel that bitcoin's future is really bright. And even in such an attack that we have seen Bitcoin Cash try to pull thorough, bitcoin didn't nudge although the price went to $5600, investors are really quick to think the opportunity to get it back while the price is at a discount. So in my opinion, we will not get bitcoin going down again to $3000.

Slim is a rather pretty word to use, I would say it is impossible. There are some things that really should not be expected and if someone here is still holding fiats and waiting for the $3k mark before they buy, I guess they will have to wait to tell their kids the story why they did not join the rest of the world when they were buying now.

There is just so little to go around and a lot of big investors are really finding bitcoin interesting right now, so to see a value like that, except if there is a war on bitcoin, then it is impossible.
