If litecoin rises, it may be as a result of hype and all. Litecoin is going to forever in the shadow of bitcoin. Litecoin has remain the same all these years and honestly, I am not expecting any price increase on it. If all you hold is litecoin, it will be nice for you to buy some bitcoin.
As much as it may have potential for growth in the long run, I so much agree with you on just dumping for bitcoin. Although, this year, we have had some increase too for litecoin but obviously nothing too spectacular. However, I would not just say one should push it aside but looking at your point as being forever in the shadow of bitcoin, that is a point that should not be discarded and I would rather just hold bitcoin instead. Litecoin have a capacity to growing up but it just a little bit, because if you notice little numbers of people are continuing holding litecoin. Why? Because their price in the market was move only a little bit also plus popularity to all people will be lessen. In addition charisma of this coin to the users must be lessen due to more coins are starting to become famous compared to this coin. |

What I can see is actually a very nice trend, all charts show a continuation. Don't worry about slippage that's the exchanges working the trades. 100. 110 120. 140

It won't be $100 soon, yet the price of it will be shaped depending on the bitcoin's price. BTC is now dominating the whole market. |

It's about time it hit $100. The question is what will you do when it hit $100? Will you sell it or hodl it? I cannot believe I made this post and did not buy more litecoin at the time, lol. People always think about past thoughts and regret what they did or didn't. It's natural, don't feel bad. We all have same thoughts on our minds. |

It is up to 68 USD now, do you guys think it will act like bit coin cash and go up like crazy?
It is not quite possible as LTC have have potentiality to hit in the market just like ETH. Though LTC now is struggling crisis from crashing but then, I still have believe it will take the opportunity to rise again. It's capability to manage and compete in the market, will bring LTC to be back in field and race again. |

Quite possible... Litecoin is similar to TOP altcoins, it follows bitcoin's buy waves. Bitcoin is climbing up to $10k. That means litecoin may hit $100 in a month probably.

LTC is a stable cryptocurrency (compared with other ones) and in my opinion, its value is underestimated.
Sure litecoin is a stable currency for a very long time and the value does not move at all in either directions and so you wont see it as a profitable coin to invest even in the long run.  the only movement i saw in the coin was a year back when there was a network upgrade and after that it on a hibernation stage and i do not expect any big changes in its price. |

If LTC goes up, it must be hype or someone who is trying to pull the price up and buy it. The reason is that the development schedule of LTC is basically no, and the application is very poor, there is no value at all, I won't buy LTC for any coin

If bitcoin prices continue to rise, LTC's price of 100usd should not be a problem, but it will take time if you can hold your LTC.

Wow, BTC and ETH are stealing the show, but LTC is doing great too! I bought long ago when it was 14 USD, and finally the 100 USD mark is so close. And Lightning network is still in progress, so much potential here.

Well, I bought some when it was 50 bucks, but I did not buy enough, lol. Wow, BTC and ETH are stealing the show, but LTC is doing great too! I bought long ago when it was 14 USD, and finally the 100 USD mark is so close. And Lightning network is still in progress, so much potential here.

LTC was 99 for a while on coinmarketcap, probably it reached >100 USD on some asiatic exchange.

I already know it from long time ago. Its weird ltc is stagnan while other crypto spike and pumped so hard. Ltc will pass $100 easily. My next direction for litecoin is $400. Lite coin is very underrrated and under valued altcoin with very big community behind it. I bet it will pass $400 in 3 month. However buy and invest at your own risk and dont invest with daily meal money.

Litecoin seems to be quite powerful now. Volumes are growing. The price increases. Because it's silver, one of the oldest coins on the Internet. I think as an investment it's a good investment. Price for 2018 I think will be around 200-250 dollars. fast and cheap transactions will be in demand
