Can I really earn from this?

This is basically exactly like any real world lottery. Only difference is that it can be proved that its not a scam unlike the state lottery.

So while it is technically possible to change your life and like the OP said "Go and be part of the 1%" the chances of actually winning are very slim.

Most people who waste $1/week on the lottery have no understanding of probability.

Yep! But this is not about probability by any means, at least, not for those dudes wasting their money on the lottery tickets. They obviously hope to strike it lucky because they see someone winning the lottery now and then. And this is precisely the target audience that the lottery organizers aim at.

In my opinion the type of people that buy those $2 weekly lotto tickets are generally people who no common sense for basic math and probablity.

Where I am at you need to pick like 6 winning numbers out of 50 correctly to win the lotto.

Even look at this
http://nylottery.ny.gov/wps/portal/Home/Lottery/Home/Jackpot+Games/LOTTO/Lotto+-+Chances+of+Winning

They state out in front that your chances of winning $22 million is basically 1 out of 45 million. Its basically a waste of a dollar. You aren't going to win.

Most people that I know sometimes win $100 or maybe $500 and that money goes right back into the lotto and gets lost again.

Gambling will really change your life it's either you become rich or you become poor it's too risky to take unless you are lucky enough to play it. Its a matter of how risky you can take for a jackpot prize though lottery offers a very high prize still the probability is too small it will take a time before you can spot to win and hoping that is the jackpot prize.

the only reason that there are so many pawn shops in vegas is because the people that lost everything of value in gambling are desperate to try one last time to be the lucky one! "it never happens"

agree...most of the gambler lost their valuable things to have enough amount to gamble hoping to get back what they have lost

Not only it is a lower percent chance of winning of something the big amount but also a considerable large of risk are you up for grabs for that kind of thing. Gamble is gamble and there is nothing worth life changing there except for the owners of the gambling firms or corporation as such you win some you lose or rather you lose some then will again lose some that are the way in gamble and there's nothing you can do about it.

it is a problem that gamblers have, when they have lost a lot of money, they start to think of mortgaging whatever they have,, and by that time they start to gamble irrationally. they will gamble with no longer thinking and spend it back .. because they gamble under pressure ,, and that's where the profits of the pawn shop
Yeah you are right. They don't gamble just for fun. They gamble because their intentions is to double their money and because They are pressured to win, always ended up losing and even got loans in casino. Without even thinking what would be the future of their family.

этo peaльнoe измeнeниe вaшeй жизни c aзapтными игpaми? eгo 1000% пoддeлкa Grin
Has anyone ever seen a bookmaker working to lose? Whoever I am already programming languages, knows that all this is a farce, all based on numbers and counts. The owner sets a minimum gain and a very high damage to the player, of course, in these comings and goings one or the other person earns some significant amount, but this is purely to make up the scheme of the game.

This is certainly not going to change anyone's life, but everyone does what they want with their money, I will wait for feedback from the staff.

OTTO LOTTO is game changing experience, with a great cause. Change your life for better. No more boring work, No more small apartment, No more old car. Experience a life of the 1%, became a 1% with games on OTTO LOTTO, worlds most transparent lottery platform in the world.
How does it work?

You transfer 0.01ETH to the Smart Contract, than you choose your numbers.
Every week Smart Contract will start to chose numbers, by taking last symbol of 6 Hash’s starting from the set time. After numbers were piked, you will automatically receive your prize to your wallet. This system is 100% automatic and eliminates any chance of fraud.
What is the price?

The winning amount is fully depends on the amount of people playing. The 50% of all money goes to the “Jackpot” and 50% are separated between people who got ( 2–5 ) numbers. At the end of the year, the week before Christmas the “ Jackpot” is played between people who played during the year. Each ticket that you get gives you one chance at the end of the year “Grand Game”, the more you play during the year, the more chance you have to win the “Jackpot”. One lucky winner will get all the money that collected in “Jackpot” during the year.

We appreciate every day that we live in our life, ability to get education, ability to have running water at home, and many things that we take as granted . So our platform want to give back, from every prize you win a percentage goes to the charity of the month. We think that benefiting people who can not stand for themselves is an important part of being human.

ottolotto.io
The price is reduced in order to test and fix any problems. After some time we will change it to the price that was mentioned before.
In order to play, you will need MetaMask .
Nice way to change people's life by taking there money and suggesting them to gamble so that they loose everything they have. These tricks won't work on everyone . Try something more realistic .

Our lottery allocates part of commission for charity .

How can we know if all of it are going for charity without you getting some comission to open this platform for us to play? Does not make any sense if someone wont take anything from this kind of game, even in reality they take some percentage for themselves. If you can proof that all of these money can go to charity may be many of players will go for sure

Change your life? Maybe in a good or bad way. Gambling is always a gambling. It's taking risk if you win or loose, there is no assurance that you earned a lot of money. Sometimes it may cause to bankruptcy. There are alot of people only want to enjoy in playing but after a while they become addicted to it to the point almost all of their wealth gone in a short period of time.

I never understood why so many people fall for lotteries..  Roll Eyes

I mean - if you gamble (like playing dice), you have the possibility to maximize your chances by enhancing your skills. Participating in a lottery though is just pure luck. I can't recommend to "invest" in this scheme, better stick to fun methods!

Actually its not the same frock. Generally the people that play the lotto they usually never gamble at a casino. Most of our grandmothers played lotto from time to time.

Those that frequent casinos usually never play the lotto. They basically are smart enough to know the odds and that they are better off just going to a roulette table or blackjack and win/lose right away instead of waiting for the week to end to get the results.

Well, obviously, I didn't mean that they are the same folks. I said they are of the same flock, but it doesn't mean that those who indulge in gambling are the same ones who buy lottery tickets. Basically, these are competing activities to a degree, so you should sort of expect people to stick to either one thing or the other. What I mean is that the majority of these people hope for the same thing in the end. They all strive to become fabulously rich one day when they get massively favored by fortune
