Surely someone's gotten one by now. Any pics?

Creating a Bitcoin client that fully implements the network protocol is extremely difficult. Bitcoin-Qt is the only known safe implementation of a full node. Some other projects attempt to compete, but it is not recommended to use such software for anything serious. (Lightweight clients like Electrum and MultiBit are OK.)

Is a MetaCoin tattoo out of the question? Smiley

I should add that I have no other tattoos so my skin is virgin real estate. Not actually virgin, but...you know what I mean.

I will get a bitcoin tattoo for 20 BTC.

Tattoo it on your forehead and i'll make it 200BTC. Tape the tattooing process itself for proof.

Somebody should get a QR code for the address/key as a tatoo - then you always have your wallet with you!

This tattoo would have dual purpose:
1. Represent bitcoin to anyone who cares to ask what it is
2. When drunk, go around saying you're from the future and that the governmental overlords mark everyone with QR codes

I'd do this, but I don't really like the forehead idea.

back of the hands hold up fine. (healing kinda sucks though, mine swelled pretty bad)

buuuuut a lot of artists wont tattoo below the wrist or above the collar line unless you have a lot of work done. its sort of an ethics thing in the industry....tattoos in those areas carry certain social stigmas and repercussions that someone who isnt a heavy collector cant fully understand...believe me, its not a decision to be taken lightly.  however, you are exponentially more likely to find a reputable artist to do the back of your hands as opposed to your palms.

in all honesty, i think it would be moronic for anyone to get their forehead tattooed (face tattoos are frowned upon even in my industry), and i was half joking when i said id do it...but if it actually happens, i dont think i could pass up doing something this crazy (itd be a story to tell clients for years)....

Lol, I'm going to get a bunch of addresses tattooed all over and tell everyone I meet that it's practically necessary for using bitcoin and they should do it too.
