2018 will come with lots of possibilities for bitcoin. If that is any consolation, I see a lot of "about to" "going to" happening in real sense where the proposed adoption of bitcoin by businesses, counties, organisations coming into fruition. A lot of forks too are expected to happen which will shook the community and discussions will be around them for a while.

Not forgetting the challenges that will be faced as well, because the above happenings will equally come at a cost. With so many KYC shutting a lot of people out of using intermediaries that focus will be on peer to peer platforms with government also coming from its own end but in all, its a great year to look up to.

It will be so easy to use. Imagine being able to send small transactions fast and free. Newbies will no longer complain about their small transactions getting stuck on the blockchain. Once all of this is set up we will hit $20,000 easily.

I really think that is possible and so do a lot of really smart people. With futures next month, it sets the stage for ETFs...and ETFs are what the general public will see as their opportunity to get into bitcoin. Eventually, financial firms are going to need to facilitate investment into bitcoin, as their customers will see the gains and learn more about it. Bitcoin itself will keep improving with lightening network, privacy options, etc. It's really exciting and I agree that 2018 is going to be fun to watch. It's never a straight shot upward though, it's always going to be bumpy, but, at least with btc, the best devs are involved and the greatest number of people are invested in its success. It's the best and safest bet in the speculative crypto market, imo.

What do you think about the price movement,what values are you expecting,it is really true that no one ever predicted these sort of valuation this fast,even i used to brush off wild predictions about $4000 last year but one thing you must understand is that no market could keep rising so fast without having a major correction ,so never expect the same sort of grown every year.

No one can predict but hope. I would hope it goes up to 15k-20k next year and I have 10+ BTC at such time

2017 was already awesome, 700% increased is not but isn't it? I haven't seen any market that increases so much, 2017 is just the beginning and wait till 2018 has to offer. Maybe $15000 is possible and even more. I'm expecting a great year for bitcoin, specially if CME will start next year. And the popularity of bitcoin could double or even triple in 2018 so its hard to imagine what will be the price around first quarter, maybe we are in $15000 by  that time.
