How can we gain more tokens from airdrops?
How can we identify if its a fraud or not?

Legitimate airdrops come from hard forks, only.

There is an "airdrops calendar" site which announces hard forks and other airdrop opportunities. Those other airdrop opportunities are mostly ponzi schemes. If they're asking you to give them bitcoin in return for the airdrop, it's a ponzi scheme.

A true airdrop requires you to do nothing, but own Bitcoin or some other currency in a wallet with private keys. You should NEVER have to give anything up. And their claims of "daily interest" is just fraudulent lies.

Airdrops are rare, most newbies confuse airdrops with income or bounties.

Airdrops that are legit are hard to find nowadays. Most of them are not legit or a scam. So in order to find a legit airdrop, you must have to try on applying there form and dont try to invest of what they said. Most of the airdrop are free but of what ive said already some of them are scam.

Its simple. Airdrop = free rewards for the token to be known mainstream. If required to have a donation or invest, then it is not an airdrop. Airdrops are getting popular now that scammy devs would take advantage to those who are new to airdrops and bounties.

The only way that you can do to prove that the airdrop is legitimate is by participating in those airdrops then wait for it to have value in exchange, if they dont then it is not legit. Anyway doing that will just waste your few minutes in participating airdrops and you are not wasting any money so just keep on participating in different airdrops and get lucky if some of that airdrops will give you a decent amount of money.

Free tokens and airdrops is like an effortless job and also the tokens are not that high value. Maybe it is schem when they want you to pay bitcoins and other high value coins to get the tokens or require you to give your private key so be careful on that.

Mostly we wont be able to do so, since airdrop tokens are somewhat immature, some even have no roadmap, no whitepaper which makes it very difficult to analyze

If you are holding free tokens, just wait until it has some value, or hold it and even buy more if you believe the project and the dev team is legit

Holding the coins from airdrops is a nice step to making more people interested in the coin because there will be much less people selling it for Bitcoin.

I've received several airdrops but most of them are shitcoins - don't care if I get them free but nevertheless I wouldn't pursue them. And yes there are several ponzi schemes so you can't be too careful in crypto.

Some airdrops asking for private key when you have to filled out the form so be careful in this fishy airdrop. In order to check if airdrop if legit read their roadmap and whitepaper, and check if already listed in coinmarketcap. And dont try yet to invest maybe you will get scam.

You can find some airdrop in announcement, and some sites.
To identify if that airdrop is a fraud or not, you have to read all the nformation about the airdrop, or joined to it. Then wait if you will recieve it or not. Airdrop is free so you dont have to worry if you joined in any airdrop wether it is a fraud or not, just becareful to those airdrop that are asking for a private key or something that is more private in you.

You can check out airdropalert.com for some. However you won't get much from them. Many of them are scam and shit coins. If you want to get value for your time, participate in altcoins bounties which you can find in the forum.
Only one bounty that was paid to me surpassed about fifteen airdrop coins in have in my wallet.

There are a lot of airdrop alert chat on telegram, some of them are quick and some are late, meaning they alert you when the airdrop is over, best way find the one which is quick to notify you and delete the rest.

I found sometimes the ANN thread sometimes have airdrops that are not even on the telegram site chat

I've been participated in Airdrops before but now I stopped because most of them are scams and they only want us to know their project although some Airdrops are legitimate but if you do joined some legitimate Airdrops, you'll be able to get a handful stakes or token where you can't even exchange it into money so the best option would be holding it until price increases and can be converted into other coins or even into cash.

If I want to learn everything that is new to me then I would prefer YouTube than inside this forum because actually you'll get ideas, reactions, views, comments and opinions if you are relying in the forum. In YouTube you'll get full detail and the video itself is informative and you'll get whatever you want to know.

You're right, before participating an Airdrop try to check some feedback and other comments because they will post negative comments if there's something wrong with their Airdrop or an ICO itself.

There is not hard and fast rule to get to know if a airdrop or tokens of a particular alternate currency is legit or not. Anyone can make a new token easily using etherium or waves these days. The only way is to read the whitepaper and look at the background of the team.

How can we gain more tokens from airdrops?
How can we identify if its a fraud or not?

One thing that will help is to research the project, look for the usual stuff... do they have a whitepaper, a roadmap, clear team members etc... if they don't have any of these and just a simple website/twitter/telegram set-up with no substance, then it isn't really any good. Not necessarily a scam, but probably not worth getting involved in.

In addition to your statement, a good ICO doesn't give tokens through Airdrops but through Crowd Sales, Bounty Campaigns and other investments. That is how you may criticize and Altcoin because an Airdrop is the fastest way to distribute tokens and people who does received tokens from Airdrops havr nothing to do with but hold.
I know my statement isn't always true but for most successful ICOs doesn't give their tokens through Airdrops but through Sales and Campaigns only.

Thanks, because some people think for their own benefit on the web, even they will have to cause the harm in other people. Thanks for the advise.

Find airdrop on the project, and then register their own information and address, you can get airdrop, and now many projects are liar items, if you want to sort out the item is good or bad, you can rely on the project itself and developers are reliable analysis.

Airdrops are free tokens or coins given by a certain ICO campaign. This will entitle you of free coins as they wanted a part of their tokens to be circulated in the market as part of their strategy in placing their tokens in the blockchain. To ensure that an airdrop is legit, first, certain information will be required when filling up a form. Upon filling up, make sure that only WALLET ADDRESS is the only one provided. If an airdrop asks for your PRIVATE KEY, be aware, 101% that it is a scam. Also, some airdrop requires you to donate a little amount of etherium for you to get free tokens in return (though practically we can't call it free because of the donation). I suggest you must let go of those airdrop that seeks donations. Rather join the airdrop that request a little work in return of free payment such as posting a link or retweeting the airdrop project as example.

Good luck! Do not be afraid to explore, from ther you will learn the process. Just be careful along the way!
