Could you explain to me why people sell paypal accounts??? why not just transfer the money into your bank account, or spend it

*not trolling, serious question

I'd guess that the only reason someone would sell a paypal account is if it as stolen.

That, or he doesn't want to expose his real identity.

All paid signature campaigns should be banned.

If I have an account in my name and I sell it then I have just sold my own identity.

That makes no sense.

Therefore it must be a hacked account or an account created with a false identity.

Either way ...

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

Maybe people who have been shut down/banned by PayPal would be interested in purchasing a verified account with a positive balance (so they don't need to transfer money into it) with another name so they can conduct business (legitimate or illegitimate) using PayPal.

My PP account was temporarily suspended due to someone selecting the wrong type of payment when they paid me (PP thought I was trying to avoid fees) and it was somewhat inconvenient not being able to use eBay and other sites that only accepted PayPal until they unlocked my account.  This could be a solution for someone in a more permanent situation.

No one in their right mind would buy this. Its got scam written all over it.

Why would someone sell a Paypal account with $1,200 balance when it can be transferred out or spent in an instant?

Why would you bump a 2 year old thread? It is no longer relevant anyway.
