What are the reasons to support war?

The warforces have the only goal to achieve defense of the country. We do reject war as a way to destroy other countries freedom

I agree on the fact we should have an army to protect us and reject war "as is" because other countries can still attack you.

If a  group or country like N. Korea is huge threat for everyone.

For my part, I don't think that North Korea is a threat to anyone, unless some other country is going to invade the DPRK. Till now, they haven't engaged in physically attacking any other nation and Kim Jong Un was very positive when he gave that new year speech. He was very friendly towards South Korea during the speech and I hope that the momentum will continue in the near future.

I really doubt that Kim Jong Un is going to attack anyone at this juncture but i will say that he is a very big threat to the western world, he is very unstable and just because he has nuclear weaponry, he is trying to get attention. And with the exception of fighting oppression, i don't see any reason for war in the first place.

There can never be any reason to support war. War is always unproductive, and causes huge damage to human life and property. And the worst thing about war is that it kills off the best people in a country. The only instance in which I am ever going to support a warring side is if they are defending themselves against a military invasion by someone else.

Ya i agree with the negative point you point out, as country going war is not like you see me not happy i see you not happy then we start to fight. Mostly should be the conflict of interest. Some country start wars might be due to being overly bullied by other country and leave with no resort. As the government of any country i think one of their concern is their citizens and no one will like war and many people will suffer.

This is one of the reasons, the other subordination of the government of the country under its jurisdiction well and getting profit from it and expanding business in this country including export and import. In general, it's just enrichment and personal motives.

1.) You own shares in defense companies & war means profits
2.) You are a politician trying to use war as a means to political ends
3.) You are in the military and your job depends on the existence of an external threat

Maybe the county your nation is about to attack is preventing you in some area: politically, maybe they are oppressing our citizens
in their country etc. If you win the war you could solve this kind of problems.  Generally I don`t think that is the way to go, but
we rarely are willing to find a peaceful way. I never heard of any war where there is truly a winner. In every war there are human
losses. How can any side than say they won?
