Believe me, it won't.Bitcoin has been forked more than 900 times. If you ask anyone in bitcoin to name just 10 Bitcoin forks... Noone will because a majority just disappear in thin air. They are all essentially scams to benefit the devs.

They only bring shame to the good name of bitcoin

bitcoin cash (this one has many people who dream that someday it would become bitcoin, as if it were possible)

bitcoin gold (scam)

bitcoin silver (a joke, "Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again")

bitcoin diamond (what will it be?)

Those forks are big jokes, nothing's serious about it and nothing's new. It is just another shit coin and a bitcoin wannabe and another crap altcoin trying to use bitcoin name to make money. They just destroy the true essence of a fork for bitcoin. People nowadays becomes more greedy about money tsk!

But at the end what matter is user support, so while Im very sceptical about Bitcoin Diamond, lets see what happens - privacy and fast transaction time might be usefull afterall.

There are forks every day, probably hourly in the past couple weeks. The only thing that gives credence to this shitty forks is the amount of supporters. I mean whether it's bitcoin gold, or bitcoin pink or w/e, it's all about how much fuss there is around it. If we stop giving these diarrhea-coins any importance, they will go away.

Anybody can clone/fork bitcoin so it is quite normal to see 100s of fork every year, some of them will get listed in exchange platforms others dies within few weeks.

All this clones are just trying to market their coin in the name of bitcoin and claim their coin is better than bitcoin.  Grin Grin

Sure, but it mean forks have relevance to Bitcoin. I sometimes read these forks just steal Bitcoin name, but with shared Bitcoin exact history, the name like Bitcoin Diamond is fair.

But at the end what matter is user support, so while Im very sceptical about Bitcoin Diamond, lets see what happens - privacy and fast transaction time might be usefull afterall.

I dont think its about replacing Bitcoin, but about delivery something which Bitcoin cannot. For example I found Bitcoin usefull as speculative investment only and Bitcoin Cash for actual usage. Maybe this one can deliver privacy, so while Im very sceptical about Bitcoin Diamond now, Im open minded.

Wait for the next fork there will be a bitcoin copper like really they are running out for ideas and some people tend to invest to this such coin btc have a lots of forks last years so this is normal event for btc, we can't complain because we can get money without doing anything just by owning the private key added that you own a lots of btc like thousands of it you will surely rich on heaven, some of them are beneficial to the original, some disappeared out of thin air and some wants to dominate and claim that they are the true bitcoin.

Just ignore it, at the end of the day, the majority will support bitcoin and the rest will die or become alt. Anyone with some knowledge can fork bitcoin so a lot of fork is bound to happen, the difference is the amount of supporter behind the fork. Bitcoin will remain the number one of cryptocurrency.
