Not quite sure if its a fork or just another altcoin out of shell. Whatever it might be its aimless and direction less. Its not like anyone would just come up and split btc into two without any reason. Quite strange

It is a real joke man, next time there will be bitcoin star, bitcoin universe, bitcoin solar, bitcoin sun, moon etc. These hard forks are ruining the reputation of bitcoin, they can't avail to make their own altcoin with other names but putting the name of bitcoin in shame. I don't know what these devs took and eaten for doing this for several times, they never contented on one coin only. Don't put more of your attention to these hard forks, they are all messed up.

Bitcoin Diamond (BCD) fork coming in ~7 days - around November 25, 2017
What is Bitcoin Diamond?
Bitcoin Diamond is a friendly dividend hard-fork of Bitcoin that is scheduled to happen at block #495,866 (around November 25, 2017). QoinPro will support this new asset under the symbol BCD.

The focus of the coin is on privacy, fast transaction time and cheaper transaction costs. More information can be found on their website at: http://www.btcd.io/

Other Asset Names
Other wallets / exchanges might refer to this fork/asset as BTCD, however this is a coin called BitcoinDark already using this symbol. We will use BCD for Bitcoin Diamond.

When should I deposit the Bitcoin?
As soon as possible, and no later than bock #495,866 (November 25, 2017). BCD claims are all handled at the same time on November 25, 2017.

There is no minimum and there is no maximum. However, if you are going to deposit more than 10 BTC, please let us know in advance.

How much does Bitcoin Diamond cost?
Obtaining Bitcoin Diamond through a Bitcoin based claim is free-of-charge, simply deposit your Bitcoin. For example if you have 2.7 Bitcoin before the fork, you will have 2.7 Bitcoin and 2.7 Bitcoin Diamond after the fork.

When are claims processed?
November 25, 2017, within 24 hours after the fork.

How can I claim my Bitcoin Diamond
When the fork happens, simply make sure you have the BTC in your QoinPro Bitcoin wallet before block #495,866 (November 25). You don't have to do anything else, we will automatically credit your BCD wallet after the fork, on November 25.

If you have 2.7 Bitcoin before the fork, you will have 2.7 Bitcoin and 2.7 Bitcoin Diamond after the fork.

When can I withdraw my BTC and BCD?
Withdrawing Bitcoin will be possible from 1 day after the fork (~November 26, 2017), Bitcoin Diamond can be withdrawn as soon as the BCD team has released a wallet with replay protection.

What is the minimum or maximum I can deposit/claim?
There is no minimum or maximum amount you can deposit. However if you deposit more than 10 BTC equivalent, please let us know in advance.

Any questions?
If you have any questions, please contact us at support@qoinpro.com.

I think it's not worth to buy  Smiley probably it's just a new coin that has "bitcoin" as part of name. So I advise to buy coins with more trust..

I have never heard of the bitcoin diamond fork. The email you receive seems suspicious and a scam attempt at getting your information. It is best that you ignore the message and move on.

This is another unsuccessful attempt to cash in on the big name Bitcoin. There is no basis, no arguments, only water. If I were younger, I would play these games. You can earn a little easy money, you can lose it. Rumors are always just rumors.

why do you even care about forks? Bitcoin have been forked since day 1. The only difference is that those people that are forking now, invest a huge amount of money in PR, and let you people think they are doing something good. Ignore the forks. It's just a piece of bull....

Well you are right about forks that happened in the past. Especially in the early days of when bitcoin first came out and was full of like 10,000 different bugs and issues. Nowadays people worry more about forks for the possibility of free coins that may result as a result of fork and so forth.

I think there will be many such forks. This is not a fork of bitcoin. These are the usual altcoyins, which mislead simple inexperienced investors into crypto-currencies. Wink

And it is another hardfork which will be ignored by the vast majority of Bitcoin users. I wouldn't even bother to transfer my BTC somewhere else in order to receive free Bitcoin Diamond.

It is just another attempt to damage the image of bitcoin and sow the idea that the ecosystem is deeply divided and everyone wants to separate at this time.

But these attempts to discredit bitcoin are already bordering on ridicule and very few are those who take seriously these fake news as they appear, disappear.

This is getting ridiculous. I checked QoinPro‏ twitter account and i was surprised since they are talking about another fork on December "Super Bitcoin - #SBTC fork coming on December 17, stay tuned!".
Bitcoin is on an open source code, thus anyone can impose a hard fork. Anyway, no reason to be afraid since there is no reason for nodes and miners to support these forks and we will soon forget about them.

I have to say that all this bitcoin forks are going on my nervs and I don't see the meanig of that. And all this bitcoin related coins have no sense, I truly hope someone will stop this. Someone in the bitcoin community should be the voice of common sense otherwise this might get out of control and hurt bitcoin realy bad.

Christmas will be very good for the whales who are perpetrating this fraud. All these forks are caused a lot of FOMO money to be tied up in bitcoin with the hope of free coins, ultimately pumping the price upwards. Personally waiting for the dump to happen which unfortunately will trap a lot of people who bought at these highs.

Seriously, bitcoin is very much in need of fast transaction times and a reduction in its cost. If in the bitcoin this improvement is not carried out, then let such improvements go to his new clones. Let it be bitcoin-diamond. The main thing is that all these coins work. Let the skeptics sneer.

Let's get real, these forks are here to stay, people are making money off them, I don't see that stopping.

Just like altcoins back then, people got mad at them for being Bitcoin clones with slight modifications, but some actually stayed and became successful.

Some people qualify these forks as dividends for Bitcoin Holders, do you think this is worth exploring ?

What could be the role of these Alt-Bitcoins in let's say, 3 to 5 years ?    Do you think they represent a threat to the current scarcity based model of Bitcoin?

Obviously, there's a real situation that needs to be addressed.

I see it as trying the new forked Bitcoin for free, whether it is usefull for me or not. I would not buy new altcoin just to test it out. So I see Bitcoin forks as a good way for many people to test the coin, and if it brings something usefull it get decent userbase fast.

Not a threat to Bitcoin, for these Alt-Bitcoins to become used, they must bring something which Bitcoin cannot offer. I see Bitcoin usefull for speculative investing and high value transfers only. So there are different use cases for Alt-Bitcoins, especialy small value transfers. But the privacy might be usefull as well.

No one knows on what would be the roles of those forked coins on 3 to 5 years time but im sure they would really just the same on those traditional alts in the market which do have still some active traders or investors who do play on its price. For now if theres another fork into bitcoin which would be named Bitcoin diamond then i wont really be surprised anymore and i do expect that there would really be more upcoming.
