Even if it’s Hodl, a lot of people are finding it difficult this time cause of the current market situation.

That is the point we people need to understand. Being a beginner, there are you are prone to problems and issues and like any other work scheme of world, you can have losses as well. But try to learn more before getting in practical phase. Once equipped, try out some demo things and practice on lower scale. After that you would be stronger with time and experience.

I do not agree that with a little practice you can become a good trader. This is a knowledge that keeps on changing with the changing market and one has to have a wide experience to tackle the challenges that come in trading. More specifically the down market is very tough to trade as long as you do not have a portfolio or investment with a low initial cost that helps trade away and make money. The rest needs hard work no doubt.

You have to do a lot of practice and training, trading isn't as easy as people say by buying at a low price and selling it at a high price. sometimes scenarios can change because depending on market conditions, you should start learning how to do analysis in various ways, and continue to try..

Probably he is referring to something like bounties, campaigns, etc which are indeed easier way to make money than trading. Anyone who cant take risks from trading should not try it obviously. Trading is indeed risky, that's why there is good chance to make money if we have the skill to trade. If you have been trading for a while then there is no reasons to leave it as long as you enjoy it.
