I've noticed there are quite a lot of old members with no activity since registration in the list. Not only have they no posts, but haven't even logged in since their registration in 2011... :-) I think these "one-time" users' accounts should be removed. Among other, some nice usernames might be made available this way... :-) (No, I'm not interested in any of them. ) [edit] Most of them are not interesting at all, I'm afraid. The main purpose of the proposed action is to clean up the list and reduce its size.

Well if it's an old wallet with no activity, I think these "one-time" coins should be removed.

Hmm, this might have happened? I clearly remember registering a bitcointalk account a couple of years ago.

I wasn't an administrator in 2010. One of the administrators at that time might have cleaned out inactive users. I don't see much point in it.

Have you touched your wallet lately?
Well if it's an old wallet with no activity, I think these "one-time" coins should be removed. What does it have to do with any wallets? I've been writing in the OP about the list of users of the bitcoin forum at bitcointalk.org. Some members can be seen in the list, whose accounts haven't been touched since their registration. That is, they've never logged in since that time. Some examples follow: 1337cookie1338591121113ahau2013Pandora2117877a71006acgourleyzzxswqqzzzzzzzzziszDo these people have any wallets that could be connected with their account on the forum in any way?

I don't have all inactive users on my mind, but just those with really no activity ever. That may be e.g. those accounts whose last activity occured in 15 minutes from the moment of registration and never later, and at least one year (half a year?) old. There are several of them on each and every page of the list. :-) Searching the list could be a bit more comfortable, and several interesting (?) usernames could be made available I believe, although most of them looks like garbage. Also the displayed number of members would reflect reality better. Aha, this might be the point, maybe there's no demand for such a change? ;-)

Agreed Look at this guy, he didn't login since December 2010, let's delete his account Can you read and understand written text? I've been proposing to remove accounts with no activity and no posts ever. Zero, zero. "Members" who've never logged in since registration. I've never proposed to remove any other account. The very special account you're pointing to has both three-digit activity and three-digit post count. Answer yourself: Does that account fall into the category I've been writing about?

Well, 60% of accounts have 0 posts so it's a bit misleading if the total member account on the front page is >130k.

I've clearly stated: Accounts with no activity ever. No further login since registration. I.e. not those with just zero posts. I believe the former ones are really useless.

Amidoinitrite? So you want to delete accounts with 0 post and no further login since registration. I guess you don't want to delete such an account if it was created 3 days ago though, so where would you draw the line? Also, why does it even matter?

I'd say it's because this forum may harbor a user-base with higher-than-average amount of aspie traits. .. or am I exaggerating?
