Cullen Roche, another popular financial blogger comments on the C&D order.

He's a f***ing mornon. Some governments say they don't even need to change current laws to allow for use of bitcoin re: taxation. The idea that bitcoin has to undergo some amazing transformation to be "legal" is entirely stupid.

And the cease and desist was not to bitcoin, it was to the Bitcoin Foundation. Bitcoin itself isn't going to die because of a cease and desist order (that well may have no grounds in law), to the Bitcoin Foundation.

And its all US, US, US. Like so many US-based "experts", he doesn't know there is a whole world out there.

This is a hugely better article:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/currency/10139651/Why-Bitcoin-is-on-the-money.html

And guess what - its not published in the US.

I think the bitcoin foundation should move out of the US entirely, stupid setting up there in the first place.

There's no work for a Cullen Roche in a Bitcoin world.

From his website: "Orcam Investment Research is the only way to access Cullen Roche's proprietary market indicators, portfolio construction insights, trading ideas, macro expertise and everyday insights."

http://orcamgroup.com/

Lend him your watch and he'll tell you the time - it's always fiat time though.

If Bitcoin continues to grow in popularity and creates a money that potentially detracts from the government’s ability to enact public purpose then Bitcoin will either adapt or die

If it continues to grow in popularity how the feck is it going to die  Huh

I feel ashamed that I clicked on the link.
