You can be right. Institutional money will soon be entering the Bitcoin market and that means that Bitcoin right now is already counting this possibility as it is slowly making its way towards the goal of $10,000. It would be a happy day if soon it can reach that level before the end of the year. Bitcoin is now having a big revenge after it experienced one of the many crashes in its history. Usually, there is that rebound after Bitcoin will crash and this is happening now. Finally, we can really say that despite of the many people telling us that Bitcoin is just a fad and even a fraud, it is here to stay and getting ready for the best run in its life. Long live, Bitcoin!

The problem here is that nobody can give you an accurate answer. Everyone would love to see BTC hit $10k by the year's end and current trends wouldd suggest that it is indeed possible. Having been said, trends aren't anything to stand by and the price can drop drastically in the few weeks we have left of 2017.

Good post, things are on the uppy up.  When I 1st read LedgerX Leap, thought it was for Dec. 28, 2017, but turns out 2018.  An entire year to reach $10k, that's a good bet!

The problem here is that nobody can give you an accurate answer. Everyone would love to see BTC hit $10k by the year's end and current trends wouldd suggest that it is indeed possible. Having been said, trends aren't anything to stand by and the price can drop drastically in the few weeks we have left of 2017.

It is true that no one can give us an accurate answer, but we can based on projection and rational expectation to see where the price is going if the historic data holds.

We assume the price history will repeat itself.  Given that, a log transformation regression model based on only this year of data would explain 95.5% of the data and gives us a year-end price prediction of $9000 - not quite make it to $10,000.  However, with some positive news and intervention, it may be possible that the price hits $10,000 by the end of 2017.  If some unexpected unwelcome surprises during these times came up, then it would be a different story.

I didn't expect it too before that the price of bitcoin will be good at $7,000 and now at $8,000. I'm only thinking that it will be stable at $1,000 but luckily we're really far from before.

But $10,000 at the end of this year, if the price continues to reach $9,000 before this November ends maybe we can see it possible for the month of December.

If it didn't went at $9,000 on the first day of December, $9,000 is a very good and stable guess at the end of this year.

10,000 is within the higher reaches of possibility, but it would take a push to make it happen before new year. Maybe lighting will help, maybe BCH will lie down. who knows.

10.000 is just a psychological boundary, .... what if it will be 9.800 USD on December 31? Will you be disappointed? I really don't care what the price it today or on December 31, most important for me is that I'm glad that I have Bitcoin. HODL.

I think $10k is possible by end of this year. waiting for CME futures launch on december 10, price will moon!

Nah, i won't be disappointed if price doesn't reach $10k or goes $9.8k and comes down. i'm gonna wait another 4 years before i sell my coins to buy a house.

LN will probably not be available this year.  Maybe news on China relexing the ban on Bitcoin or one or two institutional investors start investing in Bitcoin  would do.  A 25% increase in 6 weeks is not easy but it does happen before.

Honestly, 10K is a very optimistic expectation.  Given the price is at record high right now, hopefully, it will not have a dramatic drop again.  Because when that happened, it may take a month or more to recover.

House price varies greatly in different area, may I ask where are you planning to get your house?

I am planning to sell 50% of my BTCs after 10 years and keep the other half for apprepriation.

If the price of Bitcoin keeps increasing fast like this I think it's totally impossible. But there are more than 1 month left so I think we need to wait to see if there are any special events or occasions will be happened and see which way will it affect to Bitcoin price, maybe it'll help Bitcoin price increasing very quickly or maybe not. Although there are very little time left until the end of this year but I still hope that Bitcoin price will reach to 10k$ before 2018

An month back I started to know about bitcoin as well regularly check the price of bitcoin. The price difference that has taken place between the day I came to know about it and the preset price is much different. So, we have one month to end the year. Upon the same I believe we'll be touching $10000 before year end.

Same as me. I didnt think bitcoin will be this high six month ago. But to reach 10k usd at the end of 2017 is kinda hard. 9000++ usd would be acceptable by the end of 2017.
Yes, bitcoin has a big future potential, there are many factors that support is, such as :
1. Always break a price records by going up to a new level of price, although it has its down too, but it is normal in any kind of currency.
2. Some country already make bitcoin as a legal payment in their country.
3. Big vendors and merchants are starting to accept bitcoin.
That is just some factors that i can think of. Well, we are not wrong to invest our money on bitcoin. To the 10k !
