Never think that it's easy to make money in gambling or win back your loses because if we think like that we are underestimating it which will make us not being realistic. Knowing the risk and learning how to manage it is very important and learn to control your emotion and put that aside as it's our big weakness that is why we keep losing.

Generally, people would want to win back their losses, hoping that they can regain their money by betting again but at the end, they tend to lose more. Before you gamble, you must first establish the cap of your winnings/losings to avoid any further damage to your resources. It happens that you lose 5 times in a row but it can also happen that you don't lose 5 times in a row but you lose more than you win, then what do you do? What if you win once then lost twice and win once again and that just repeats? Do you continue or stop? What you actually describe is not a good way of gambling. The best way is to set limits to yourself. If you reached those limits then it is time to stop, whether you profit or not.
