There’s no particular set reward for holding X amount of tokens, more you have, the more that can be used to stake for higher reward incentives on agreements made within the node you stake. Essentially you want as many as you can afford because the node incentives scale with the amount staked

I also agreed with you the team made very good progress and the direction of this project is really impressive. I believe this will turn into very huge project so that is perfect time to buy more before it get too late to take advantage of current price.

7 Reasons OriginTrail Is Worth Keeping An Eye On

OriginTrail is a decentralized, trustless, blockchain-based protocol designed to share, upload, and store data. OriginTrail (or TRAC) is built on industry standards for data sharing, like GS1 and IoT. These standards allow businesses to share information between supply chains, organizations, and customers.

Data-sharing standards like GS1 “form a business language that identifies, captures and shares key information about products, locations, assets and more.” The TRAC protocol can be used to create a “peer-to-peer network” of data. This data can then be accessed to increase the quality and safety of a product for both customers and business owners.

Currently, supply chain data is locked up in centralized “data silos,” due to security issues and lack of a protocol which can share information between networks. In this state, data cannot be freely shared or used! Unlocking this data with a protocol like TRAC will allow it to optimize a product’s entire production cycle.

Many industries will benefit from TRAC’s improvements to the supply chain. These industries include the automotive, pharmaceutical, food services industries, among others. Here we take a look at just a few of the reasons why OriginTrail is worth following.

It seems Trace Alliance will start its own website on Sunday. Not sure if that is that smart, but I guess more sources of information the better.

OriginTrail Contributor Report — Q2 2018

Several important milestones happened during the second quarter of this year for OriginTrail, particularly when it comes to promoting protocol adoption. One of the key achievements was the OriginTrail’s decentralized network launch as a testnet on June 29th, which opens a new area for the accessibility of the technology. With 33 B2B events, over 50 media mentions and multiple positive announcements in business development, we are comfortable that the business is definitely moving in the right direction. We are firmly fulfilling our vision of a decentralized future of supply chains powered by the blockchain, and we expect additional business opportunities emerge when the technology is out there, serving real businesses. OriginTrail is delighted to present you the second quarterly report which is split up to report on the achievements by each of our departments. Thanks a lot for supporting OriginTrail.

Very detailed report of 2018 Q2. What I like most is that actual development exactly followed the development plan that was set on their road map. Although it looked very optimistic back then it was fully realized.

I found this on Reddit. Written by CMO, review of last week and what is ahead in next week:.

Hey Tracers

In July my team was busy launching the Trace Alliance website r/https://alliance.origintrail.io/ and some other projects that I cannot publicly discuss yet.

I initially wrote this summary for the Telegram, but I liked it a lot so I thought that would be a great content to return to Reddit with weekly updates, too.

What did we accomplish last week?

Q2 report was published https://medium.com/origintrail/origintrail-contributor-report-q2-2018-765aba695dd
OriginTrail was mentioned on Forbes (context: blockchain technology adoption in China) https://www.forbes.com/sites/tannermark/2018/08/01/blockchain-china-misunderstandings/
our partner Matilda Ho took a picture with Žiga and Tomaž in our project office in Shanghai https://twitter.com/DrevZiga/status/1024924304150953984
advisor Ken Lyon (ex-UPS executive) tweeted that he is proud how the Trace Alliance is growing https://twitter.com/jadutwit/status/1025407053605601280
Trace Alliance website - membership growing each week https://medium.com/origintrail/the-trace-alliance-website-a-meeting-place-for-future-blockchain-projects-3890a111d864
AMA with Tomaž Levak (co-founder and CEO) and Žiga Drev (co-founder and COO) https://medium.com/origintrail/summary-of-the-first-ask-us-anything-aua-with-tomaz-ziga-42f8c06b7abb summary + YouTube video
co-founder and COO Žiga Drev shared a project update to the channel https://t.me/OriginTrail/296596
What's up next:

On Tuesday, we will publish a July's monthly report. In the report, there is a summary of testnet beta program activities.
The team is also working on updating the roadmap for Q3, we cannot commit when it is going to be published, but should not be long.
I will invite more team members to post updates weekly on Reddit so you will get better insights into all the exciting developments at OriginTrail.
I am also available for questions on Reddit. Nope, I can still not comment on exchanges (and I never will Smiley), however, you are welcome to ask questions in comments below this post and I will answer them tomorrow.
Have a great week, enjoy summer & thanks for supporting OriginTrail!

OriginTrail Monthly Report #7: July 2018

July will be remembered for the Trace Alliance Program launch here at OriginTrail. Not only did we launch a brand new website and listed 36 current members on it (including Deloitte, TE-FOOD, Lucid Green, to name just a few), but we also launched new communication platforms, process, and infrastructure to cater to the increasing demand by businesses for the OriginTrail protocol. In our recently published Q2 report, we revealed that more than 200 companies are trialing and exploring protocol functionalities. https://medium.com/origintrail/origintrail-monthly-report-7-july-2018-b0c3e81b6ddf

It is weird that a solid project such as OriginTrail is only valued at less than 20 million dollars. Feels heavily undervalued, considering the supply chain combination with Blockchain.

$20 millions is still a lot of money.  And you must not mix the project with the token. token is not a share of OrginTrail it is just a token that is used for validating. Owners of OrginTrail are known and value of their stake is high specially since OrginTrail holds big chunk of tokens that are as a whole worth $20 millions.

The entire value and use of the Origin Trail is through their Token TRAC. So, basically the the better Origin Trail as a company does the better their token TRAC will do. (Unless the founders start a seperate consulting company of their after the mainnet launch to do consulting business to earn money even if token does not pickup in value). The Trace Alliance has many technology providing partners and so this is less likely and i agree 100% that the TRAC token is grossly undervalued considering the HUGE potential it has in disrupting the status quo.
Also the benefit of OT is that it can integrate with legacy SAP systems and so it easy for companies to explore blockchain.

The latest version of our OriginTrail network node software 0.9a, Explorer, is proudly seeing the light of day today, as scheduled. We have been working on implementing new data standards and many improvements, especially in the privacy layer of the protocol.

It is wonderful piece of work this is good achievement of the team they working tireless to bring more innovation and adding revolutionary features to this network. This is undervalued token so that I can say this in future it will be worth to it to pick more and more on current price range.
