August started off very nicely for OriginTrail with a mention in Forbes. Trace Alliance membership grew significantly, and the dev team worked hard on testnet developments and presented their progress to the community in an AMA, interview with a video and a testnet progress report blog post. I was reading that and am curious how that will end. Hardly wait end of year to see it.  135,000 USD is not so little money and could attract a lot of contestants.  On other hand $135k is nothing compared how much difference ICOs are giving for their ICO promotion and sort of throw them away.

There are not so many compared to what Ico collect and it is not so much money if we want to take as a reference the parameters and the average salaries of managers, devs and Western programmers; but if instead we shift our attention in the east, such as in China and India, markets and areas where OriginTrail is very present and rooted, then this contest and this $ 135k award is an excellent opportunity for many small companies and enterprising managers , which must emerge.

Personally I find this selection an excellent marketing strategy by the OriginTrail team!

They have updated roadmap and ODN origintrail decentralized network is set to be launched sometime in first quarter of next year. They are very advanced in this field with usage of blockchain and have no serious competitor. Having a look at the list of partners you find big names where established business and startups can be found. Time is passing anyway for this kind of project they have good speed of work.

In October they will be packed with activities. This month, they will promote the Open Call and be present at more events, including the Global Agri-Food Forum 2018 in Mexico and the GS1 European Regional Forum.

I totally agree that getting on this poster with all those companies is simply amazing.  And this was not a paid sponsorship or something similar how ICOs usually get listed with such companies.

It is proof of their their work and recognition of the tracing network on blockchain which will provide one of authenticity to products that it made its place on that poster among world's top brands which needs no introduction. $10 millions is a lot of money. And TRAC is not a security. So owning TRAC you dont own a OrginTrail company. I am not saying price of TRAC cant grow and will not grow. I am saying that calling a $10 million market cap of TRAC low is not right.
