Simply put, an airdrop is a way for a new coin to fairly distribute it's coin/token to the community.  Most of the time the development team for a coin will create a form for you to go to, and you fill out different types of info, normally BitcoinTalk forum ID or profile link, and possibly Twitter/Telegram/Facebook info.  Then, you include your ETH wallet address, and if you're lucky, they will "airdrop" (basically send you) their coin to your wallet. 

So, it's basically a way to get coins for free.

Airdrop is what you get after begging for bounties on every single announcement thread. like when I airdropped my activity tokens to Sr Members+. lol.
Even though still more than 20.4M out of 21M total supply is still in the air, I guess I dropped them from outer space. full stop lol.

Airdrop is a free distribution of tokens. Most often, these tokens are absolutely useless and worthless. More often it happens that the developers forget to distribute them, but simply collect the numbers of purses and e-mail addresses to send spam.

It is a giveaway done by developers of new coins or tokens just launched. To promote their coins, they literally give away coins to people who claim it. So basically it's free money. But often such coins are worthless...

It sound`s great ! I think, than the idea of airdropping is very interesting as well as forward-looking, but i`d like to know-is there any risk of taking part in AirDrop-campaigns ??

airdrop it is a free coin which we are only told to fill out the form to get free coin and if we are lucky we will get the coin

Though most Airdrops are fake, but All Airdrops are not Scam. An Airdrop is a free giveaway of premised coins, moreover Airdrop is a fast way to get a large number of users, and it's easy to get a strong community. Through Airdrop A new coin comes to market with popularity.

all for users already in bitcointalk already know what airdrop ..? airdrop is a free coin, only at the end of this month airdrop is not so clear project developed from crypto platform when entering the market is very cheap. Not infrequently a scam project
