Has any one got any recommendations on what bit coin exchange to use, I'm in the UK is there anything else apart from britcoin?
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

There is a list of exchanges at From that list, only Britcoin and BitMarket support £s.

What are you looking for from an exchange?

Well I'm after the GBP also and having spent some time checking out a few of them (sending bitcoins allaround the world  Grin )  I decided to go for britcoin.  Made my first sale today \0/  £21.67 profit .

Now waiting for the dude that runs it to wire it over which wont take long as we even use the same bank
Cool NICE  Cool 1 day max my bankmanger tells me.

Im no techi but dut didnt take me long to set up an account and get it working. Even tho I needed to sort out some open id thingy first.

Will let you know if the money actualy ever hits my account. ( Eve-online Player so I expect everything to be a scam lolz )
