Is volatility over in cryptocurrencies? Nothing is moving.

There is no way volatility can be over in cryptocurrencies. Just because there isn't any significant change is the price of cryptocurrencies doesn't mean that volatility is over.
Volatility is the very nature of cryptocurrencies. Ethereum for example was at $450 as at the 11th of December, 2 weeks later,  which is today, the price of Ethereum is $750

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

The Cryptocurrency system always volatile because the price of cryptocurrency always depend market. It's no one manage it and no one can predict it. It's alway run with the market activities. This is that make trading with cryptocurrency giving more than fiat currency.

When you talk about cryptocurrency it is expected that has a volatility by each coin and the price was depending on the market demand you will see there the volume of coin every minute it is moving according to the people's order in the market, that's what we called volatile. Why did you say it is not moving or are you kidding try to look up the chart price of cryptocurrency it is moving every second because they are volatile eventually moving.

Until there comes to be real life use of cryptocurrencies, volatility can never be discounted from the markets because it  would only take a few moves by a whale or a group of them to bend the market in their desired direction. For now, the markets are unavoidably calm because of uncertainties of what would become of the markets as the year ends and another by the corner.

Volatility is part of the crypto world. Check Ripples. It has overtaking Ethereum in second place on trading volume. Just in 24 hour the price rouse from below $1.50 to $2.70 and marketcap grew to $102bn. In the next hours, these stats could swing either way.

Good example. Currently its sitting at $90b marketcap but I don't know if if really grew to $102b, if it is then $10b has been slashed already. Simply cashing it out or moving funds to other coins already. So its really that volatile, very unpredictable its really up to you on how to manage it. Most of us dump coins during its high and then shift to other and then the cycle continues. Again, how you deal with volatility its up to you. Newbies are the one who have difficulty managing volatility, then think that the market will end once the price started to go down. LOL. But for us experienced traders/investors, we all know how to handle it that most of us really doesn't give a s**t when the price is going down. And for those who really wants to see how volatility into action, just look at XRP in the next couple of days.  Grin

Are you kidding? Volatility in crypto is the most fluctuating thing i've seen ever in trading. Only in crypto is possible to make 1000% for several weeks.

Volatility actually attracts more investors as it gives them a roller coaster ride and gives them a thrilling effect of good profit.
Fluctuations are just in every side of the corner so be ready to have a good ride and with that it comes with higher volatility the higher the chances of profit taking.

I guess if bitcoin wasn't volatile at all, then there's no reason to stay with bitcoin,i'll just stick to some good altcoins.Volatility is the main reason why bitcoin community continues to grow as it attracts and encourages a lot of investors to invest in bitcoin and eventually do some trading in the later part.I think volatility will always be there as it reflects the nature of bitcoin.

It can be said that volatility is present in every currency like if the Christmas event the volatility were high because the people were interested to use bitcoin at that even and as a result the price goes down in the end of the previous year. the crypto currencies are also also risky and the volatility of some how is present there. If we look at the previous years bitcoin were the monopoly and now a large number of coins are circulating in the market so when a person want to invest they have many option in the crypto market.

The volatility of the cryptocurrency is, on the one hand, an advantage, and on the other hand, a disadvantage. On large currency. Even trading on the exchange could not reduce volatility.

Yes, its volatility because of the environment of this business is indefinable or unpredictable because of the sudden changes that happen to the value or amount of the coins in this kind of business.

Do not say volatility is over in crytocurrencies, and nothing is moving, because i am also the one who periodically checking the movement in the market, and it's continuosly moving. Just like the bitcoin in the market now,it is still moving, and  not yet over.

Well, you have to understand where the OP is coming from, If you haven't noticed, it was back November and maybe that time the price doesn't have movement that's why he is asking based on what he/she observed.

There's also such time in December as far as I can remember that there has been no movement, specially when CME offered its bitcoin future contracts. Well the rest is history.

But overall, volatility will be part of the process and to progress to the next level, we really need it and be able to adapt as well.

Volatility of price now is very good for trading this is the best way now to earn for our needs to provide daily finances.Because bitcoin now is too long for the low price so the tokens also is difficult to recover to go up.
