Hi
1) is it usdt or usd on bitfinex for tax laws

2) with the event of last night and finex getting backed with polish bank and adding euros, does it mean all balance of people become instantly like fiat and taxable gains from the second finex announce it is backed by the polish bank, does this timestamp matters if u rebought btc with usdt before that

all this is complicated nad can have huge consequence for users, i dont find the answer

Bitfinex and paying tax on trading profits are very regular subjects in the daily discussion thread.

It's going to be very interesting to see what happens to USDT on Bitfinex.

As it stands there's no way they'd convert a USDT balance to USD without informing anyone, that's if it's possible at all. That would open up a whole can of worms about liabilities and compliance. It'll stay how it is.

okay, so our balance is currently being usdt ? why is it written usd for a year, you are sure right now and last months it was usdt ?

edit : I didn't find the thread you mentionned

and is it the same for euros recently added on finex ? is it eurt or euros for the law
