An airdrop, usually new, company is giving away a certain amount of coins or tokens to people who sign up for the airdrop with them. They usually have a few things they want you to do, like follow them on twitter, slack and/ or telegram and share their posts with others or something similar. Recently airdrop I entered and got 'dropped' was Polymath. This was an interesting one, since they didn't have a public sale or ICO, Now my free 250 Poly were already worth more than $390 with in a month.

there are also airdrops that you get automatically when you're signed up with a certain exchange. As you can see, Airdrops are the way to add value to your portfolio totally for free. They are best way collect free coins.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I would suggest that you stay away from airdrop scams. And I think bounties are more profitable than airdrops. Just know if it is a fraud or not.

Hi everyone. I've tried participating in a couple of airdrops but haven't gotten any coins yet. For those of you who have, how do you go about making anything out of airdrops? Is it worthwhile or just the usual pump and dump?

I find that the coins received for the amount of effort isnt worth it...

Airdrop is profitable but not all of them. I can say that other campaign is much profitable like signature campaign. so i suggest to join in the airdrop which is under the bounty you are in. that is much better

If there's a lot of time, then take part in all the aordrops you find. Coins will not be superfluous. At the initial stage, they can cost $0, but there's a possibility that after the launch of the project they will grow in price.

All airdrop are profitable since it is free, you don't need to release a single cent for airdrops. If you see an airdrop that requesting for GAS or Donation keep away from that because theres a chance that it is a scam. So join many legit airdrop and earn profit easily/

Some airdrops that are from reputable sources can be profitable. For example, when OmiseGo airdrop happened for people holding Ethereum. OmiseGo is now worth much more than when they first came out. There are also other airdrops that can be profitable, but most of them that are not shared on Bitcointalk or have proper websites tend to be scams. I know because I signed up for many of them and they never actually delivered it. Also, some airdrops are just random. But my guess is there will be a place where we can find legitimate airdrops.

yes very profitable, but it can also depend on the loss of our intelligence many who already get the benefits of airdrop. I also get a little coin from the program itself so my advice if you find a promising airdrop as soon as you join because of the dream you will meet there

I Thought Waiting for an airdrops from various altcoins and patiently waiting, And when to dump, mostly when it has its peak value, You can always try to fill out the forms of those whose does not have too much or Complicated requirements,  But it is getting fewer days and now many airdrop are asking for donations before Registration,  The airdrop revenue it can be used for those who need it and for the investors who follow the project will also get a Good impact from the Project, So I Suggest you Follow another Campaign, do not focus on Airdrop...,

Airdrop usually brings in quite a bit of money. I sometimes participate in airdrop, if there is free time.

If you are focus on doing airdrops maybe you can profit out of it. But if you are doing bounty hunting, airdrop is a waste of time for me. I try to fill some form for airdrop and until now i have not receive any token from them.

if you want  participating in airdrop you should must check the  developer of project that it is fake or real. because many of airdrop is fake and wasting time.

My opinion is that it is a dump. Especially in the case for airdrop just need to go through the referral link, and nothing else. Hence the coin is worth nothing, since it is so easy to get.

Yes airdrop are profitable...But not all..The airdrops I have received last year some of them already reach $1 per token and some are even higher and most of them are scams...At first when I began signing up in airdrops ,I have already signed 10 forms but none of them came to my wallet..it took me a weeks before I received my first token and a months to start earning. You just need a lot of patience in the world of cryptocurrency..

When joining an airdrop most of the time you don't lose anything, there are many different kind of airdrops but those most common require only an ETH address or an address from their wallet, a bitcointalk profile, some give reward based on the forum rank etc. While some other airdrops require to hold X amount of that token and receive xx% of the total amount you hold. In conclusion there is no risk besides any sensitive information like email and showing publicly your IP address(if they require to register in their website).
It's free money so I suggest that the airdrop money to hold and not sell in the first months or years, this is risky but it worth.

To participate to an airdrop requests a so small effort that it whorth of it.
Of course, airdrops are just promotional tools, so you can't expect they had a big value.
But sometimes, if you're lucky, they can suddenly skyroket, so you can have a very nice surprise.
