Is Bitcoin More Important Than Ethereum?

For me both are important for as long as we generate profit from this two coins it is beneficial for us. The difference only is that the price of bitcoin is far from the price of ethereum. Both are worth to keep on holding on.

I see people choosing bitcoin so few people think that ethereum is more important than bitcoin. I see that bitcoin has the potential and is more interested investors and traders than ethereum.

FOR MANY YEARS,Yes bitcoin is more important   especially to the altcoins.Eth is just a baby ,It needs to suffer much trials to go up high like btcoin.Bitcoin is the Grandparents of them  and nobody can defeat btc.

I think bitcoin and etherem both are growing rapidly. But BTC more important than ETH due to its popularity. Bitcoin is fastest growing leading crypto currency in the world. Btc is always on no. 1.

Just curious OP, how can etherium be recognized without people knowing first bitcoin? as we all know that bitcoin is the first crypto who was able to gain popularity and without bitcoin alts wont be recognized, so from that point I can say that bitcoin is far more important that ETH both investment or uses are concerned.

For me its a yes, as what we can see, bitcoin has a huge amount right now, so what is the other reason for you to not believe that bitcoib is more important? Hahaha! For me, Ethereum is still far away from bitcoin, but we can also invest and start right now as long as the price is still low and can afford.

I believe that both bitcoin and ethereum has their individual functions in crypto currency world. Although bitcoin is more less secure as compared to ethereum and will not make ethereum inferior but bitcoin is more stronger in terms of value and secure when compare to ethereum in my opinion.

As of now, bitcoins are more important than Etherium due to the fact that bitcoins cost more than etheriums. Of course, investors want a quick cash out of bitcoins that's why they invest on bitcoins instead of etherium because of how fast the pricr movement of bitcoin has.

Ethereum had its peak, and it is one the wane now. A few months back, ETH was so close to overtaking BTC in terms of market cap. But it never happened and after that the coin slipped far behind Bitcoin in terms of capitalization and the number of users.

The graph shows it all. Bitcoin could not be the leader of the cryptoworld if not for its demand. It can never reach its market price so far if it is not in demand. To cut it short, Bitcoin > Ethereum.

In my own experience, yes because bitcoin has been the general cryptocurrency which is most easily to transact with fiat in almost all countries and more people are using bitcoins than ethereum.

The reason why you think bitcoin safer than eth, I see that eth is pretty well and is showing signs of increasing, the value of eth is also better for newbie..

Of course. for me bitcoin is still more important than ethereum. well, but sometimes, there are some people who think that ethereum is still better than coins anymore, because the price is likely to go up, and have a very small risk to be endured for long periods of time.

well actually both are very important in the world of crypto.you can't compare one to onother.But in my opinion right now Bitcoin is far ahead fro ETH.Because BTC is like the gate to the crypto market. Its the coin with the most media attention and highest adoption around the world.

Ethereum is a platform on which Dapps (Decentralized Applications) Can run off it. It also has smart contract applications. They’re like Gold vs Aluminum.
