Yes it is true but, we can't denied that bitcoin is more popular than ethereum and bitcoin is more usable than ethereum. Moreover even how modernized the system of ethereum I guess it is not enough to surpass bitcoin in the crypto currency society.

The most important think to understand is that Bitcoin and Ethereum both are two different things. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and a source of all cryptocurrrencies  whereas ethereum is tokens. Ethereum platform has has different. Bitcoin is definitely is more important as it has more value but ethereum is also important its its value is also rising costantly.

I agree, I tend to think over time ETH will be more stable. Because ETH has businesses building on top of it using it for day to day operations.
I think Bitcoin will become more of an asset class, leaving it more vulnerable to market forces.
