Is Bitcoin More Important Than Ethereum?
They are both important but has diffrent specialties. Bitcoin is for investments while ethereum is for selling items using smart contracts. |

There's no competition between ETh and Btc nor you can compare it. Bitcoin has there own rules and eth have there own principle. Only one thing is similar both are digitial Currencies. You can't make smart contract with bitcoins. On the other hand ETH is also decentralized but a platform for making smart contracts. |

Bitcoin is the king's of cryptocurreny, so need to compar with others. becouse he is boss,that's why bitcoin price going to moon.but transaction fee is a big factor for bitcoin users. other hand eth create a market very smoothly but not equal bitcoin.
ETH and BTC are destined for different purposes and therefore it may not be right to compare them. Anyway, the crypto-investors have been making heavy investments in ETH, hoping that it will replace BTC sooner or later. But ETH has little chance of replacing BTC. Unlike BTC, it is more like a platform, where you can attach the tokens you create. |

Here in our country, bitcoin is more important than ethereum. Why? because we can only convert bitcoin with our fiat not ethereum. By the way, there is no coin will developed if there is no bitcoin because they just copying on how the bitcoin circulates and that's why they can easily create a new currency with its own blockchain. |

Yes bitcoin is more important than ethereum for me but why we always comparing the bitcoin and the altcoins? We can use them both right? And if i we're you i will stop comparing them as soon as possible because i love bitcoin and bitcoin is very important for me without bitcoin i can't live in this world and bitcoin is a money right? So if i have a altcoin too i can have a bitcoin by converting my altcoin into a btx so love and work for bitcoin and altcoin/ethereum |

It is not totally to be stated as more important. Maybe more popular because Bitcoin ever since was the first cryptocurrency to be established and at the same time, the first cryptocurrency you will encounter in doing cryptocurrency works because mostly, the term of payment for your work is in terms of Bitcoin in which nowadays has the most expensive value in the cryptocurrency market. Also, Bitcoin and Ethereum must not be always compared because these two are different with each other that caters different characteristics to be unique from each other. |

ETH - public development team, public development roadmap, widely used for main crypto investment tool - ICOs, stable price (at least before it gets futures trading too) BTC- non of the above, but still ETH cannot survive without it. So you choose  They are equally important, given the adoption of ET vs BTC. The total capitalization of BTC is due to its very high price, not as a function of participation per capita. ETH on the other hand, has the whole ICO scene. the amount of capital inflow into the ETH block chain is simply ridiculous, and when the price of ETH adjust (it is a utility token that has actually developed utility) the capitalization will far outstripe btc. at least til the price of bitcoin does another one of these crazy spikes (with the resulting boost in market cap)  |

It seems to me that you can not compare bitcoin and Ethereum. These coins are different and they are both important to us.
For me, ethereum is more important than bitcoin. Bitcoin is famous now a days because it proves its worthiness and functionality, however, we also see now its weakness as crypto and subject to hardforks to improve. While on the other hand ethereum also has its weaknesses but unlike bitcoin which has only one function which is money transfer, ethereum is used to smart contract in which I think will be indemand and its services will be used also by the government. |

Offcourse you can not really compare the two because they are completely different,
as previous posts explained.
But Bitcoin is were it all started with.
If Bitcoin drops, then usually Eth also drops.
But it's not the same the other way around.
Everybody looking at crypto's market prices looks at Bitcoin first.

I think there is not any comparison among btc and etherum. Etherum is now pumping in the market. Its price is also growing fast like bitcoin. It is true that bitcoin is the high price crypto and still no other beats it.. But for me both are same important for me. And profitable also.

Im thinking also its both need for the cryptocurrency and bitcoin and ethrium are both need for the business go on. Resume and more possibilities its rank it up level up to other peoples that they much quality expectation to meet that expectation.
In the beginning a bitcoin was created, all rules and scheme are for bitcoin. Once the price has inflated enough, it began to spill, and big part so reaches to ethereum. Then to the other main crypto currency. |

Bitcoin and Ethereum coin are both cryptocurrency and you cannot ask something like what is more important because altcoins are created to compete with bitcoins so there will be an alternative coin if you do not have enough capital to invest on bitcoins.

Both bitcoin and Ethereum might posses unique platform but to be considered as a currency it must have a limited amount of coins,i am not sure whether they have come to a decision to cap the number of Ethereum as i am not following their development for a long time ,bitcoin is used as a currency and now as a store of value because of higher transaction fees and transaction delays. |
