you don't have to buy 1 bitcoin! just buy something smaller like $20 worth of bitcoin which is 0.00243902BTC at $8200 ignoring the fees. you are free to choose how much you invest after all.

and newbie is meaningless in my opinion. the information is easily obtained. you can do some research for a couple of hours and become well informed if you are willing to spend the time and also only if you read reliable sources not random comments on the internet.

I agree with you on this statement and i actually don't think you have to be a so called professional in order to buy bitcoin or any crypto currencies. I really am not sure why some people seem to have the notion that you have to buy or sell 1 whole bitcoin at a time. If that was the case it would be out of reach to about 70 to 90 percent of current bitcoin customers i think.

Is bitcoin still a good investment for newbies? Is it worth to pay almost $8200 for 1 BTC today?

This is up to you to decide. I advise you to do your own search and expectation before investing in something you don't understand.
This is valid for any kind of investment.

First, keep in mind that you don't have to buy exactly 1 BTC, you can invest just $100 or $1000 or $20 because Bitcoin can easily be split into smaller units.

Generally, before you invest into something you study it first so you can form your own opinion where the price will go or how it will react to future events, how risky it is to invest and many other things.
If you will have knowledge you will also be able to protect yourself from hacking, accidental losses of funds, all sorts of scams, including minority forks that claim to be "the real Bitcoin" and so on.
When you will make your first buy, there will always be a possibility that it will crash, maybe for a very short term, maybe for longer, but I suggest to treat Bitcoin like a long term investment and hold it for years - trading can easily decrease your portfolio, especially if you are a newbie.

Its actually not worth it because its so expensive now you must wait for bitcoin to drop then you can maybe buy bitcoin for a lower price. I will do the same because bitcoin is now very expensive for many people.

Even for my friends they are also afraid to do a investment just because its so expensive now.

I don't really think there is a need to buy 1 bitcoin right away not unless you don't mind its value decreasing at times. You need to consider bitcoin's high volatility. I think it would be much better to observe the price trend and buy small values whenever the price goes down.

You know you can buy any amount of Bitcoin... right? For example : You can by 0.01222 BTC for $100 US now. { 1 Bitcoin = 8,171 }

Some people seem to think you have to buy a whole bitcoin at a time, but that is where they are making a huge mistake. Some of my friends

are saving money every month and then they wait for the price to drop. After the price recovered, they sell for profits or they buy more bitcoins

with those profits.  Wink

No one can predict the price as Bitcoin price is reached to highest place in first time in life, so its hard to mention whether you can buy or not. My best suggestion is wait and see if the price reaches $9k or not then you yourself know when to buy and sell.

Yes of course, why would they even set a price if its not worth it. I think bitcoin is the best investment for newbies and also the price is showing great improvement it will be the most high price digital cryptocurrency exist in the world. It would be very helpful to everyone that uses bitcoin as their source of income and alternative job for those who are jobless in the realworld.

I would suggest you to do so, yes it's a lot more expensive than what it once was but some people speculate it will rise a lot more within just the next year itself. But its best if you do your own research and decide whether you can risk that much of money.

If you think it will go over 8,200 in the future and also that it may fall in the near future devise a system where on a certain day say every friday invest say

$ 200 if the price is less  9,000
$ 300 if the price is less  8,000
$ 400 if the price is less  7,000
$ 500 if the price is less  6,000
$ 600 if the pirce is less  5,000

adjust the price investing to your total amount you can invest,, this way when the price drops you will be buying more and when it hits say 10,000 you will be looking good.

It's not worth it if it will be 800 next year, but if it's 80000 next year then yes, it's worth it. The question is will it be 800 or 80000???

You know what, no one can give you correct answer and there is no point in asking such questions.
1)Bitcoin could go up to $10K
2)Bitcoin could go up to $100K
3)Bitcoin could drop to $5K
4)Bitcoin could drop to 100$.
Make your own decisions with money.

$8200 worth in bitcoin is belongs to you and you could sell it everytime you want so basically you not losing your money if you buy bitcoin and if you aren't sure with bitcoin then leave it because bitcoin investment is risky and volatile always be aiming to those who have bitcoin and there is no guarantee if you buy bitcoin today then tomorrow the price will goes up automatically

Is bitcoin still a good investment for newbies? Is it worth to pay almost $8200 for 1 BTC today?

The same question you are asking is what someone who have asked at the beginning of the year when the price of bitcoin was below a $1000 and becuase of that did not buy just because he thought otherwise. The same person will come and cry foul on thread such as 'when did you first hear about bitcoin?' 'what is your regret about bitcoin?' 'what happen that you come in late into bitcoin?' and the most annoying thing is 'what is your greatest bitcoin regret?'. The answer to all this have one thing in common and that is what you are asking now.

The way out is, its not compulsory you save up $8200 because you want to buy bitcoin neither do you need to sell your belongings to have one. If its a $1000 you can afford, go for it. If its only $100 worth that you can spare just settle for that. Just be contended to the returns you get in six months time which will be proportional to the amount you have put in.

Yes. Because everyone should own 1 bitcoin. And there's a very limited number of people who can, due to the 21M limit of supply.

Bitcoin cost $ 20 were the same questions. Now it is worth waiting for when he comes out of the lateral trend and then buy it.

I can't give you a very good decision about buy bitcoin, but i think you can buy different cryptocoin or just wait when bitcoin will be dumped and then buy it. So the best way it is buy various crypto more perspective.
