Well, I also use to think the same when I came to know about it. The value was at around $600-$700 and I thought the same whether it will be good to invest as a newbie, but you see the value now. So its never too late than never as many said here. Also with increasing global acceptance now its pretty clear that it can or it should grow more.

If you plan to buy 1 BTC for now, it may be too expensive for you who are still newbie. Try looking for other ways to get BTC, for example follow Bounty Campaign in this forum or open services and pay with BTC.

If you really invested in bitcoin and bought 1 bitcoin with the price of 8,200 USD then you already made a lot of profit for sure because the price of bitcoin right now is above 10,000 USD and it is best if you will keep on holding it for a longer term because the price of bitcoin might go up higher than the price right now.
You are right investing money to earn bitcoin is not a bad idea because when you pay to earn bitcoin this step will be profitable I means after sometime when the price will grow more then you will be able to get more money in investment that why it is not worth to pay that amount of money in BTC.

You can wait for the dip, but if it would happen, you well tell your self, oh wait, it is not the dip, just wait a little bit more, so know your dip and know your moon is quite hart, and if i ask around, people still waiting for dip ...

There's not going to be any dip so better buy now at any rate andcwatch it grow , if you had bought at 8200$ I guess now that it's skip past 11000$ you'd have been laughing to the bank. That's how Bitcoin has come to be, invest when you can and you'll be rewarded.

That is how awesome is bitcoin, if you really bought bitcoin when the price of bitcoin is still 8,200 USD then you already made a lot of profit that is more than 2,500 USD because of the price right now. It is still not too late if you will just still keep on getting and buying bitcoin until you get the amount that you are wishing for.

Is bitcoin still a good investment for newbies? Is it worth to pay almost $8200 for 1 BTC today?

No, it’s risky  because you need to learn how to save your wallet , how to invest , when buy/sell , fee .

better to read more then pay 11,000$ not 8,200$

I am also not seeing any dip coming this way so if anyone wants to increase his capital, this is the right time to invest in Bitcoin. He can definitely multiply his money and better to not regret while he has the time to grab the chance.

Bitcoin is going to rise for few more months or at least experts think it will remain this way for the first half of 2018. I am investing my money into this digital asset and haven't been disappointed by this decision yet.

yes, investment is still good for beginners and not just beginners, even for everyone who does not understand bitcoin. because the easiest thing to profit from bitcoin is by investing. just by sitting and on vacation you can already enjoy the benefits.

I think if you can buy bitoin right away, do it. The rise and fall of bitcoin prices is a very unpredictable thing, and you can wait for a fall to a certain amount, and it will not happen. And in the end, you have to buy bitcoin even more than planned.

Of course it does. I do not think that it will fall much and its price will be less than the amount you specified. But the growth will be 100 percent, and your purchase will pay off.

You see ? Why it's worth buying 8,200 $ BTC. Have you seen the price today? It's 10,100 $ and if we buy bitcoins when it's at 8,200 $ it's definitely growing about $ 1,900. So there's no buying time especially now that bitcoins are starting to rise in price. Because next year. It will cost up to $ 20,000, $ 30,000 and $ 50,000 by the end of 2018.

I don't know where you got your sources, but 1 BTC is about $18.550 at this moment, certainly not $10.000. If you find anybody selling BTC at $10.000, do yourself a favour: check if it's not a scam, and if it's legit: buy as much as the seller is willing to sell...

I think it depends on each of them whether they believe that the price will soar with its value and I think it would be worth it if with each conviction by drawing the right conclusions, but if you want to invest in bitcoin you can buy just one bit which you will invest, but you should learn it first before investing in bitcoin, because everything has the level of risk you might get

If you think you'll be needing all or some of the $8200 soon, then it's kinda risky. It would be best to invest gradually. It won't give you the biggest gain, but it will let you sleep more soundly at night.

WTF? It is really difficult to believe that the exchange rate was just 8K last month. How long this rally is going to last? I am waiting for a correction even since 2017 January, when the exchange rates rose from $200 per coin (2016 Jan). Anyway, I just hope that the OP had purchased some coins after creating this thread. Right now, he will be at an ROI of 130%.

As everyone else, I'm replying also because I have such a hard time believing that the price was 8200 last month...

If OP has purchased whatever amount with that price, he/she will be very happy now.
