Come on! What is it with this word-newbie. One is only a newbie if he remains ignorant with on-goings in the crypto world. It does not matter how long he’s been around! And once you’re equipped with the relevant info, then you’re good to go. Crypto investment is like a dive in the ocean. You take whatever that comes your way-good or bad-after the dive. However, just like in swimming, you can never do it until you go into the water. Listening to odd news about crypto can keep you from ever investing even the smallest amount of money. Granted, it is risky, but risks are meant to be taken and only those who do take it have some experience to sell. $8,200 is such a huge amount but definitely not too big for a crypto experience which you can sell for something better in return so please leave the doomsayers and get on board. Having said this, please remember never invest more than you can ever afford to lose!

The price is same for all so it makes no difference whether you are a new investor or old one. Same goes with returns being obtained.

From the $8200 as started above that means 0.1btc will be roughly $820 so as a newbie I will advise that should be the highest you should afford. Put the rest into altcoins that can give you 500-10,000% ROI (Return Of investment) In 1-5years time.

Here is something must people will not tell you,  if you own 1 BItcoin,  for the next 20 years you will still have 1bitcoin. you can only gain when value of 1btc increases (e.g you bought 1btc at $8200 and sold 20years later at $82000). But when you invest that money in altcoins you also gain both in bitcoin and USD( or local currency)

Investment is a good way especially if you pay like that but i think you need to do research, explore and read a lot to get more knowledge and idea how it works. But if you want to have many experienced here you can also try trading and mining to earn a huge profit. For you as a newbie you need to do this way because this can help you to make it easily undertand what makes you confused.

Is bitcoin still a good investment for newbies? Is it worth to pay almost $8200 for 1 BTC today?

It depends on how much you can wait and risk for it to make profit because for me an $8200 price per bitcoin is quite high since there are moments where bitcoin is 50% lower than that. Nevertheless you can still earn profit when bitcoin recovers yet again it is risky and you may need to wait much longer compared to buying low.

Even your a newbie or not,it depends on your belief. Belief if bitcoin will still rise from the amount you have bought bitcoin. This is not possible but only your patience will tell. If you dont have the exact knowledge on how to manage your bitcoin, try to research more and this time decide. No one can tell if bitcoin will dump or pump. Maybe there are some manipulations but for sure it wont be dead. This is the crypto-life. Since you already started entering the blockchain world, then hold on to your decisions and accept the consequences

If someone would do that, i would be disappointed for him/her. That is not a wise decision because there are many other ways to earn bitcoin and you don't even need a large amount of money for that! Just let the person calm down and make him/her read more about bitcoin and read on how to earn bitcoin, because I swear, there are hundred of ways on how to earn.

If you are comfortable paying that amount why not, when it comes to investing on Bitcoin there is no such thing as newbie and experts, the most important is you know what is Bitcoin how it works and it's trading history, this is very important for investors.

It is a safe investment for a newbie and a chance to earn some money. When he learns some basic things he could invest in altcoins for bigger or faster profit.
Experience and learning is the key here no matter what you do.

yes it is, You will probably get more profit in 2018 since they are already predicting that it will reach $10k in the next incoming year, If i only have that huge amount of money then i will also do the same way like you think.
Probably it is and it was a best decision you made to buy even a single bitcoin of yours atbthis low price. Imagine if bitcoins value today is $15k-$20k then your $8200 isn't enough to buy bitcoin right. So what you did is only a good choice and you better to stay put your single coin and wait till it hits its high price again, let's say $15000 then imthis time you sold it.

I think 1 bitcoin is alot of money if you invest it in cryptocurrency.I suggest that invest what you can afford to lose because in this cryptoworld, lots of possibilies are just about to come and now its pumping pretty sure people will start the hype and regret when price dumps.

Personally i wouldnt spend my money on one bitcoin because its a lot of money. I would splitt this amount and would invest in many different coins. You should never invest all your money in just one coin. So look at coinmarket cap, there are a lot of different altcoins with really exciting projects behind. You can also inest in some new exciting initial coin offerings which you can get the coins and tokens very cheap. Those projects have a high potential to grow their value from the beginning!

good day sir.. in my opinion as long as you are comfortable with the price of bitcoin, and understand the risk in accordance with it, that at some point it can rise as high as a sky rocketing machine and it can go down as an asteriod.. bitcoin has a lot of potential and no doubt with it, as long as u can still hold when it goes down no problem, just bare in mind sir.. if you want to sell your bitcoin pls sell it with a profit or even break even if u cant wait.. but dont end up losing.. thank you,.

If you are a risk-taker and have the guts to invest such large amount of money for 1 BTC then thats good for you. In the previous years many of those who invest in bitcoin are now rich and financial stable. We all know that bitcoin is a thing to risk but if you believe in bitcoin and have more time to wait I will tell you that it is worth of your waiting because I know that you will prosper indeed.

No one knows and there is no correlation between bitcoin price and whether you are a newbie Grin
Just invest some amount you can afford to lose, do not ever put your entire saving in it,
As wise man said, never put your egg in one basket

Try to wait until the price goes down, it will happen since the price is rising and falling. And I believe you will get a huge profit if you buy cheaper than $8,200. Good luck Smiley

Well, if I have a lot of money, I think that's natural. but if not, I think it's a high price. I might be interested in buying bitcoins, but as a newbie, I might be looking for ways to make it for free, rather than buying it.

If you are going invest as a long-term investment, then it the best. Because limit the supply of Bitcoin will increase the price in the long team. But if want gets the short-term profit, the invest on ICOs and other stable good Alts coins.

Trading is also a good chose to earn a short-term profit, but it has high risk. Investing in any coin or ICO, do your own research.
