Hi there,

I'm newbie in mining, but i just wanted to try for fun with a computer i'm not using anymore at home.

i've a i3 3220 3,3Ghz HD + graphic 4000 + Asus7600GT.

I've try tu launch MinerGate but this one don't recognize HDgraphics and 7600GT, and Guiminer don't reconize GT7600 either.

Have you some advice for a simple miner tool that support my hardware?

Thanks

you can try nicehash you can download their apps .. after you install the mining app they will automatically read the device you got .. for the kind of coins you mine will automatically also determined by them to give you an advantage.

I've been using the app for so long .. it's stopped now because I'm using antminer and some other mining devices.

Hi there,

thanks for this fast answere!

I've just try NiceHash Miner, but it don't recognize anything too, and told me at the first run "No supported devices".

after a bit of search, i've found that my CPU doesn't support AES and my GPU doesn't support CUDA, i think it'd be a problem for mining at this time. Is there any other mining tool that support this kind of hardware?

Well I think this hardware is too old for trying mining now, i think i've already spend too many time for the profitabilities this could have!

thanks for your help

Can try to download and run Winminer https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2004875.0. A processor instruction can be used not only AES, but also AVX.

Without CUDA support, there is ZERO ability of ANY miner to use the card for anything.
That's what CUDA is all about.

There might be older CPU-based mining software for SOMETHING (most likely Monero) that supports a non-AES CPU.

That's whats i was waiting for, this hardware is too old to be usefull on any networks. I just wanted to give a try!

For info : MinerGate is working with my CPU only, mining Monero.

Thanks for all your reply!
