Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018?

I think 1k in 2 months is a bit of a stretch, the coin would need to increase 2.5x in such little time. But i firmly belive it'll reach and maybe even surpass the 1k mark during the next year, especially when the products being built on top of the platform start being launched and used by the community

I wouldn't be surprised to see ethereum even at $1500. Just I can give you example of bitcoin cash and how they made it to top coins in months. Ethereum is so much stronger and it deserves higher prices.

What can happen. If the investors and whales get the absolute agreement, the ETH would probably exceed $ 1000 and I'm sure this will happen because in recent times people are buying more ETH than Bitcoin

It's not actually impossible when Ethereum and other top Altcoins will reach $1k early next year because this 4th quarter of the year is the best time for Altcoins especially Ethereum. Now, Ethereum surpassed $400 and it will be increasing continuously until early next year or the whole year around.

In my opinion Ethereum can reach that price because this coin is most popular altcoin and also strong in fundamental. Also the volume nearly to Bitcoin, and this platform is flexible as smart contract and used by many third party like fintech and start up that will increasing the demand.

I believe Ethereum will be able to reach $ 1000 in 2018, and will return to the best performance of the price of Ethereum which is now starting to increase although on a regular basis. It seems reasonable for Ethereum to be a bitcoin companion in cryptocurrency because Ethereum's popularity is quite good.

I like how people here are now very bullish about ETH, Who wouldn't, it used to be the darling of the crowd around May to June but now their is a renewed interest on ETH and I don't know why. And by looking at the price today, the bulls have successfully broken the $400 barrier and I'm sure it will remain that way. Maybe the coming month of December push the bulls to buy ETH with renewed enthusiasm.

I'm expecting a little bit of lull though because of the US holidays. But the news regarding reports of upcoming access to its own regulated derivatives market has really put ETH on the next levels. If this trends continuous it may very well be breaking $500 at the end of the year.
