Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018?

i think, its hard to reach 1000$ in first months of 2018. Maybe 500$ $. But etherum is the second good coin to invest (after btc).

In my opinion we cant see 1000$ for ethereum in the end of this year.
But i still have hope to achieve this on 2018 first quarter. At least second quarter or the end of the 2018

in my opinion ethereum will not rise in january 2018 in 1000dollars. but r to invest now to ethereum it will rise step by step. maybe achievable to ethereum is year 700 to 800 dollars

With the recent ETH price correction, I don't think that we can breach $1K yet in Jan 2018, But I think that ETH will be somewhat stabilizes at $500 mark and around the second quarter, it everything remains as stable and a new wave of bullish investors will come in, bitcoin could go as high at $600-$700. That's the top I can only see in bitcoin for the first quarter or entering second quarter of next year.

So ETH should be hold long term, it's not used to before wherein it is also being used for pump-and-dump only. I think a lot of companies are also seeing smart contract as a good alternatives to used and implement.

I don't think so. There might be a temporary pump but the magnitude of that pump can hardly be estimated. I think the average ETH price is going to be somewhere around 600 USD by the Jan 2018. If you are looking for opportunity to make x2-x3 profit then you need to pay your attention to ICOs (I mean a good project's ICO).

There is no way ETH will get to 1000 USD by January 2018. If everything goes on well for ETH it will hit 1000 USD by 2Q 2018 but definitely not in January. Remember for it to hit 1000 USD the market cap should hit 2x the amount now. And that should take some time

I also don't think that 1000 usd is easy to reach in one month. Just analyze last year and see the trend, it will take some time to reach 1K usd level in my opinion.

ETH remains a good coin from year to year because this coin indeed very interested by everyone. about ETH price will it hit $1000 on 2018 i think maybe will be more than that. yes buying ETH in at the moment is indeed a very good idea. time will keep spinning and the price ETH will continue to increase.

I agree that. Maybe there is possible for ethereum to reach $1000 by 2018 but not quite possible in Jan 2018. Should take some patient.

The ETH/BTC chart doesn't look pretty. Until 25 November it looked like there could be trend reversal back up, but when you zoom out to 1 year there's a strong trend to 0. Maybe we should open a new thread called Ethereum at $100 in Jan 2018
