Made the mistake of transferring BTC very late and tired and didn't see the screen properly, always a recipe for disaster.  Anyway I ended up transferring some BTC with a 1 satoshi per KB fee lol.  Is this likely to ever confirm or should I resend it? I don't mind waiting a week or two, just not forever lol.

It will get confirmed at some point for sure. There are currently 25k+ unconfirmed transactions, which is quite much because around 1500-3000 transactions fit on a block depending on their size.
There are few people offering transaction acceleration service. However i recommend tipping at some point because they are using their time for doing this service to the forum members.
Posting into one of these threads should get your transaction confirmed within 2-8 blocks or so on:

CoolWave's accelerator service
natiak482's accelerator service
Thekool1s's accelerator service

I hope that you get your transaction confirmed from one of these services Smiley

I don't know about that.  This is extremely close to a zero-fee transaction.  Pretty unlikely to confirm these days.

Is the transaction replaceable?  Can you do an RBF transaction on it?  Because if so, that's probably your best choice.

Otherwise, you can try getting it accelerated or just wait for nodes to drop it from their mempools (this could take a while).

There are currently only ~30k unconfirmed transactions and the mempool is okay again. Not to mention that I had a few 1~10 sat/byte transactions a few days ago (when we had a huge backlog) and my transaction went through after a couple of hours. If you accelerate your transaction, it is almost certain that you will see a confirmation on the same day or the next.

Free accelerators:
-Snip-
Antpool [An account is needed - Free registration]
Viabtc [Your transaction should have a minimum of  0.0001BTC/KB (10 sat/byte) included fee]
Confirmtx [Only transactions under 500 400bytes are free]

Your best bet is trying to use an accelerator service though a lot of these require a minimum fee to have been sent you could offer to pay a premium if they were to help you. If you are that desperate but if you can wait awhile see if any free accelerator will help you.

There's a website which estimates how long for confirmations that I can't recall maybe search it up and see how long they predict.

It will confirm eventually, transactions have increasing priority that is proportional to time. It really depends on the volume of transactions as there similar cases with you that are confirmed within hours. If it's a big or decent amount and you need it asap, then use accelerators.

Thanks guys, I tried the Bitmain accelerator, but it's been over a week now and no joy.  This is the transaction in question:

https://blockchain.info/tx/5bf21258c3aa30abb5e56ed34de8ed1c8c42537b628ea54a6a50893dd752b217

I don't mind waiting a few more weeks, just worried it might never confirm or something if so I'll overwrite it.

I'm on the same boat, around the same tx size and fee
but I was trying to save fees on consolidating many small unspents. Cheesy
first seen relay time was November 3rd 2017 and still unconfirmed now
I think we need to try double spend or CPFP method

You must be very lucky because all my txs (7 of them) are still unconfirmed for almost a month
did you accelerate them thru antpool? because that's the only one without 400bytes or 10sats/byte limit
I created and used antpool to accelerate them but didn't seem to work? do I need to be a miner on that pool too?

It will eventually confirm but it could take weeks because yes it is close to a zero fee transaction. I don't believe you will be needing this urgently given the fact so you'll just have to play the waiting game.
