Is it possible to redeem the same amount of BCH using my Bitcoin Core wallet?
I've had a Bitcoin core wallet since 2013. I have the whole block chain on a custom path and I read on this tutorial:
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/beginners-guide-claiming-your-bitcoin-cash-and-selling-it/So I downloaded the Bitcoin ABC wallet and when executing it didn't prompted a dialog to select where to download the new block chain and started overwriting my bitcoin core blockchain
so I'm now in the process of restoring my blockchain....
But is it possible? Because I want to be sure it can work before downloading and synchronizing another >160 GBs for a new block chain
