The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Not specifically BTC but cryptocurrencies in general. You think it will become a course of study / college degree at some point?

There would be a great chance that this will happen in the future. Considering the high demand and popularity of cryptocurrency, when a government finally endorse cryptocurrency, education will rise. In thr lessons, cryptocurrency will be remembered as the invention that change the online market entirely.

It may become part of the subject for computer courses and economics but it is too early to predict and beside bitcoin is not legalized yet.

That would be nice if that happens, and much better if they will accept cryptocurrencies specially bitcoin as a mode of payment for their programs. Bitcoin would be a major part of the economies around the world if it continues to increase in value and I would say it would be normal if education system adapted to it as well.

Gaining a better understanding of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency ecosystem can be a daunting task. It is rather easy to get overwhelmed by all of the information, and finding the right starting point for your quest is not easy. Thankfully, there are a few mainstream Bitcoin courses people can take advantage of. Most of these efforts focus on the US crowd, but international recognition is gaining traction as well.

I personally don't think that bitcoin or any crypto currencies will be a mandatory college course to get a degree. Now dont get me wrong they may offer like optional classes kinda like they offer wine tasting classes but i think thats about as much as they will offer.

I guess, the idea of making crytocurrencies as a college degree is not feasible right now and it takes more years to make it feasible.  Making it as a subject or part of the curriculum of computer course is more possible than making it as a degree.

Not likely in regular/traditional colleges. But in business schools, possibly since Bitcoin has caught the attention of many business sectors.

Not likely after a long ponderous moment because cryptocurrency will fall under economics or in financial matters and it can be touched by those subjects. Especially now that some of the majoy countries are banning or closing their doors on it i suppose it would not be

Why not? The world of crypto and blockchain technologies is developing and soon they will come into life of almost all people — like internet, for example. It can be taught in colleges and univercities.
For example SEO - about websites. It is not old science, maybe 10 years. And in some universities it is possible to study about it.

Bitcoin has been rightly affecting and positively changing a lot of fortune. Bitcoin has now become a topic for discussions amongst economically  influential personalities and if this trend continues, I do not only see Bitcoin being part of college curriculum or programme, I also see Bitcoin becoming a serious case study for the global economy.

Yes bitcoin will be a major in college i have found something interesting about the bitcoin on college, This week the international business school, Varna University of Management (VUM), located in Bulgaria, has announced that ten applicants for the school’s software engineering bachelor’s program will earn bitcoin-based scholarships. Students will be able to choose to receive the scholarship fund for 1000 EUR in the equivalent amount of bitcoins. That's fact that the bitcoin will be addopted by college include the major in college, it is just about the time i guess.

I think not bitcoin but blockchain for sure. Bitcoin is like one of "product" from blockchain technology, and you can use this technology for something else.
Now i expect there is some college major consider to adopt blockchain technology into their curriculum. It's like the future has changed by blockchain, so everyone including school and college must be prepared. Yeah, I think this is important to do.

Indeed, There are entirely great shots for bitcoin to be instructed in colleges and schools as a course since it is the most recent pattern in the financial matters and the individuals who are doing degrees identified with business, economics, finance  and so forth should think about this innovation in detail. This progression will be exceptionally useful for these individuals in their down to earth lives in light of the fact that bitcoin is the eventual fate of monetary standards.

Definitely! I bet some of the universities are already introducing some crypto-related courses. And I do believe that generations have to get educated about digital currency, as this is the future.
