I for one don't believe that Btc or any crypto currencies will be a required college course to get a degree. Presently don't misunderstand me they may offer like discretionary classes kinda like they offer research and tasting classes yet I contemplate as much as they will offer.

Not specifically BTC but cryptocurrencies in general. You think it will become a course of study / college degree at some point?
I think it should become a part of the college curriculum. It will definitely be a smart and an intelligent move. To spread the knowledge about the crypto would become easier if such kind of step is taken up by the education ministry. Students right now just need to be educated regarding this topic and they can really do wonders. Every time a get to meet a student and get to discuss this topic with him, I really get to know a hell lot of new ideas because the youth has a different perspective to look at the things. with time I really hope each n every country takes a step forward to introduce crypto as a subject in the schools or colleges!!

I don't think this will ever be a reality unfortunately. Maybe they can pick blockchain tech up at computer science etc.

I guess that's impossible, seeing now that many have banned cryptocurrencies like states that prohibit the use of bitcoin as a transaction tool and recently social media has also banned advertising of cryptocurrency and ICO. So yes it is impossible for cryptocurrency to be used as a learning in a university.

This is quite possible, since cryptocurrencies are constantly developing and are increasingly needed in the modern world. Accordingly, we will need specialists in this area.

I will really agree if college universities will place a major course and it is about cryptocurrency but it really takes time before it will happen since there are a lot of governments today who really hate the idea of using cryptocurrency in their country.

I see the point in introducing bitcoin and cryptocurrency in General to students of financial and economic orientation. We are all waiting for quality professionals, so that they may be educated to the fullest. And we will need these specialists.

No, it will not be a course or degree. It maybe part of the subject of the course but not as a major course. There are no valid reasons that bitcoin will be included as a major course because of the situations right now.

It can be a major example on subject topic or related matters, or a major topic of research and issues for debate, but as a subject I guess it will go with a deep process to become a major subject.

Well not literally be the entire BTC be the major subject. But then, this should be included in some college curriculums in order for the students to understand its background and how is it going in our present market. It is very important indeed so that they get to understand what is going on in our market and for them to better understand.

A major, no. But a course in money and investment management majors it could be taught. It's one major investment now and a lot more people are getting into it so it's only fitting they be taught how to manage it.

Over the past few years, colleges and universities all over the world have been creating courses revolving around cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology so it probably wont be too long before it becomes a major in college with the growing demand.

I think courses already exist with cryptocurrency in a few modules. I know University of berckley do. Long term I can't see if having its own specific course but I can see it taking over large parts of financial/economics courses. Even law for that matter. I also assume if you study cryptography at university cryptocurrency will pop up.

With a good literacy in something, we can achieve many things out of that thing. Btc course in college? Sounds like a great idea, but look at the things to be considered in order for you to start as a crypto major thing. Professors are needed in order to teach college students. Where can you find those. Well there were a lot of things.

I have heard some Universities offer Blockchain courses but there are only some universities. But blockchain courses are not considered as an important subject or course which can be studied like any other subject or course ( including optional subjects and course) at any university. But seeing the popularity of cryptocurrency in recent dates and seeing the growth of the community maybe many more colleges will start adopting blockchain courses in their curriculum in coming days.

In my opinion, it is not impossible but it is somehow hard to achieve. It can be a college course but what job you will get right after? I think you can learn by yourself to do job in crypto, no college degree needed so I think this will not be becoming a major in college. It can be part of the curriculum as a subject in a specified course but not a major subject so that this can help student to be able to have their own source of income even if the are just studying. I think before it is implemented, there will be several discussions about it and I think it will be debated whether cryptocurrency will be taught to college.

I do not think cryptocurrency will be used by most universities around the world, because there are so many special restrictions in every country, even cryptocurrency lately is not included in this type of economic financing but a digital asset. therefore every college would be better just to learn the basic calculations of mathematical formulas, because based on existing sources, the value of bitcoin is done by using a computer program that can solve the algorithm.

At some point cryptocurrencies has become a study course in some institutions. I don't remember clearly where but it is I am sure. So there is no other way to be modern but to study cryptocurrencies and any kind of digital money.
