Hi I just saw your post in the JEW/Shekels forum.  What Chinese coins do you recommend?  I am always on the look out for new and undervalued coins.  For the Chinese, I already have TRON and Blackcoin.  Would love to hear your opinions.

I don't understand why, everything is simple.
Send all your coins from old wallet to exchange (cryptobridge).
Remove our old wallet.
Install the new wallet.
Send all your coins from exchange to new wallet.

This doesn't work, obviously, as cryptobridge works with the new wallet. The chat doesn't exist anymore on shekel.io, unfortunately.

I have asked PhilippeD to correct his post, but he hasn't.

The above quoted statement is 100% incorrect. To swap from the old Jew coin (has a white GUI) to the new Jew coin (has a black GUI), you need to follow the swap process as documented on Discord.

To be clear, you do NOT need to swap coins if:

1. You never had coins in the old wallet and you see the expected balance in the new (black) wallet
2. Your coins are on crypto-bridge, stocks.exchange or tradesatoshi. All exchanges have new coins ONLY

Coin Swap Details

Note: coins on stocks.exchange and crypto-bridge are new JEW and do NOT need to be swapped.

1. Backup your old wallet.dat before you do anything!
2. Coin swaps are only performed via the chat on https://shekel.io/
3. You need to wait until the chat is online.
4. Do not pester the admins on Discord to do your swap. They cannot help you.
5. Coin swaps continue until 28th February so there is plenty time.
6. Why to stake or run masternodes on the old chain while you wait for your swap?
7. When you join the swap chat on https://shekel.io/ make sure you have:
    a. Your old coins ready to send (i.e. all coins unlocked/masternodes stopped).
    b. The new wallet installed (New wallet = Black GUI : Old wallet = White GUI).
    c. The correct wallet version installed (Help / About Shekel Core should display v1.3.0)
    d. A new wallet address created to receive your coins.
8. It may take 48 hours for your new coins to arrive. Don't chase until 48 hours have passed.
9. Coins in stocks.exchange and crypto-bridge are New coins and don't need to be swapped.
10. Old wallet addresses start with a S : New wallet addresses start with J
